Looks like the ball falls in the gutter to me and I have never seen the 7-10 pick up look like this ever. I'd have to vote illegal as well. A cleaner video sure would've been nice to see. Stilll, it was cool, even though it doesn't count.
i think the ball fell in the gutter and therefore is not legal but even so that is still an EXTEMELY HARD pickup!!! personally i wud consider it a pickup if ur not bowling in a league or tournament
I vote that this one is legit. Ball did not make it to the gutter hit the right side of the pin and throw it back into the pit where it just bounced up a bit. I've had it happen plenty of times just never with the 7 there.
Listen to the guy on 0:07, he knows the ball is going to fall into the gutter. There is not enough room for the ball to hit one pin and slide it to the other in this situation, the ball will fall prior, the only chance to convert is hitting as hard as you can the inner side of one pin and hope it will bounce back from the pit walls towards the other.
this video is VERY poor in quality. it looks to me like he bounced it out of the gutter to kick the 10 over into the 7. this is not legal. the best legal way to convert this is to throw the ball as hard and straight as you can and barely clip the inside or outside of either pin, causing it to bounce off of various things in the back end, and eventually take out the other pin. But once the ball leaves the lane (i.e. touches the bottom of the gutter) it is declared dead.
