Truthfully, I would not trust fatcow.

Why?

visit ipage .com. Does it look familiar? It's fatcow, at a cheaper price. Go to the registration page and compare both websites, look at the images used on both websites.

Whenever a company creates competition by opening up a clone of it's original one, it isn't trustworthy. I guess i'll stick with Hostgator.

Anyways, IF you want fatcow, register for ipage, same thing just cheaper (I wouldn't recommend any though).

@TechTubeMedia Its true, sometimes they give you a last minute discount like that. Although I looked at ipower, the basic plan is lacking a lot such as space, email accounts, bandwidth but they do look like the same company. Hostgator is one of the best!

Gotta put a plug in for Dreamhost. They are terrific with what they offer and their support staff doesn't talk down to anyone. Minor issues (growing pains?) with their servers occasionally but they price out well.

Missing in your webhosting pointers is what one gets regarding virtual space/shared hosting, etc. Folks new to all this may want to know the difference and may pay for the difference if they were aware of what-is-what. Thanks for the video.

@yutubemedia You do get your own email with 000Webhost. For free they give you up to 5 email addresses, and when you pay for it you get an unlimited amount. You can pay either $4.84 or 7.84, and get pretty much unlimited everything (space, data transfer, etc). It's also really good if you just want a quick, free, no hassle testing server. Even for free, you can use your own paid for domain, so you don't have to use their sub-domain. You can also make as many websites as you want with them.

When you pay for it (which is what I said you had to do for unlimited space and email), you DO get those things. @yutubemedia You know that Godaddy gives you a lot of features, like SSL, anti spam email etc, FatCow does too, but for a price, so if you plus all that together, it cost just as much total. (With the high cost one). I prefer GoDaddy, I don't know why, but I've got 0% downtime so far. And also, do like you did with the others, take one year pre-paid, & see how much that is / month... It's like you don't like GoDaddy at all, you just say the sucks, and move on.. That's it.
