@juntartful I do have a brand new service where you can have a pro website designer create a great looking website for you, no cost with no c. cards involved. check out my videos!
visit ipage .com. Does it look familiar? It's fatcow, at a cheaper price. Go to the registration page and compare both websites, look at the images used on both websites.
Whenever a company creates competition by opening up a clone of it's original one, it isn't trustworthy. I guess i'll stick with Hostgator.
Anyways, IF you want fatcow, register for ipage, same thing just cheaper (I wouldn't recommend any though).
@TechTubeMedia Its true, sometimes they give you a last minute discount like that. Although I looked at ipower, the basic plan is lacking a lot such as space, email accounts, bandwidth but they do look like the same company. Hostgator is one of the best!
Gotta put a plug in for Dreamhost. They are terrific with what they offer and their support staff doesn't talk down to anyone. Minor issues (growing pains?) with their servers occasionally but they price out well.
Missing in your webhosting pointers is what one gets regarding virtual space/shared hosting, etc. Folks new to all this may want to know the difference and may pay for the difference if they were aware of what-is-what. Thanks for the video.
also one .com :) They offer a freeee year's hosting for all UK customers! Only have to pay for sey up, it comes to like £12 for a year including a domain! (Sorry for advertising but i use it all the time! :) )
I am so mad, people keep saying I'm so stupid and making fun of me, youtubemedia, please check my videos out and tell me what you think, if that's okay with you, I'm a big fan!
@yutubemedia You do get your own email with 000Webhost. For free they give you up to 5 email addresses, and when you pay for it you get an unlimited amount. You can pay either $4.84 or 7.84, and get pretty much unlimited everything (space, data transfer, etc). It's also really good if you just want a quick, free, no hassle testing server. Even for free, you can use your own paid for domain, so you don't have to use their sub-domain. You can also make as many websites as you want with them.
@ggisedd You DONT get a free domain, dont get 24/7 support at all, no SSH access, you dont get private SSL, u dont get unlimted email accounts, and 1500 MB is garbage?????!!! no advertising credits!!! theres so much more to list
@funvista1 I'm NOT saying it's the best, but it's something! Also, you are only pointing out the FREE features. When you pay for it (which is what I said you had to do for unlimited space and email), you DO get those things. The only thing I said about the free aspect of their hosting was that it makes a good, quick test server (which is all I use their free service for). I'm sorry if my comment was confusing. A list of PAID features: wwwDOThosting24DOTcom/featuresDOTphp replace "DOT" with "."
@yutubemedia lol, yeah, I found that kind of funny. I was only talking about their paid hosting. I don't want to waste space on your comment section with repetitive text , so just read the my reply to funvista1.
@rickaistechtalk1 Well I already had my domain, but if you dont already have a domain I would recommend using fatcow to get your domain because they give you a free one! No point in spending another 10 bucks
@zomakaja They do give a domain though, but yeah, who know what they incorporate into the price already, though either way its still very cheap even if they do
@duerdum9 fatcow HAS SSL you moron fatcow has EVERY feature godaddy has for less get over it kid its not like the video is trying to diss you, just switch over when your contract is over
@duerdum9 U R completley wrong on this one kid, go to fatcows website and click "get started" u will see in the list of features that they give SSL secure server!!!
@JamboStudios You have to have website hosting, the hosting is the part that provides you with your own email address and they send and store your emails and make your own email address you want, you can have unlimited to.
Anyway, on the actual video, I host a website on 000webhost, but I got a free domain, bbbbweb.tk. It has no ads and I have a HTML and Wordpress running
@RobotBoy655 no its not dude, do you get a free domain besides using ".tk" which is unprofessional and scammy sounding? do you get unlimited space and bandwidth? Do you get a personalized email address? and $150 in facebook and google advertising credits? is there 24/7 customer support? thats what i thought.
@yutubemedia You know that Godaddy gives you a lot of features, like SSL, anti spam email etc, FatCow does too, but for a price, so if you plus all that together, it cost just as much total. (With the high cost one). I prefer GoDaddy, I don't know why, but I've got 0% downtime so far. And also, do like you did with the others, take one year pre-paid, & see how much that is / month... It's like you don't like GoDaddy at all, you just say the sucks, and move on.. That's it.
This has been flagged as spam show
Hostgator is by far the ideal host ive dealt with, they even let me have internet hosting for 1 penny by using the coupon "KINGTRAFFIC"

juntartful 7 months ago
@juntartful The best type of free website is one that's self hosted. DON'T get anything like blog sites, they aren't really yours.

Oh, there's also ipower (same company as fatcow, and ipage).
That's 3 :/
try this: Go to registration page (on all or one of the aforementioned sites), and then click on close tab.
A pop-up offering a greater discount is shown. It may be reliable and all, but I have a bone to pick with companies like these.
TechTubeMedia 9 months ago
Truthfully, I would not trust fatcow.
Why?
