@KarelYalek HAHAHA... "to get a grip"!.... thats what you need. That wheel turnin exercise did nothing for his grip. If thats the case he woulda drove straight outta the hole if he got a grip. C'mon kid, your mom bought you those school books so you'd use your head before you opened your mouth.
@89NAYG it was a joke making fun of GMs flimsy weak front ends and number 2 i drive a 99 cummins so you can suck it Cummins > duramax....... Dodge > GM.... i dont hate GM they are my second favorite ..but dodge is superior and cummins well we all know cummins is the best
@CrackinVTEC666 Haha its funny cause it is kinda true. But usually not on half tons and gas jobs. Just diesels when they're making a pull or have mean mudders on 'em.
@mike4x4chevy48 yea there is an aftermarket tie rod kit that solves that problem but GM needs to seriously beef up the front end of there so called HD pickups or go back to a live axle cause that front end is weaker that a wet paper bag anddd they need to lose the V8 and go with a 6.something liter Inline 6 diesel
@CrackinVTEC666 Yeah they need to beef it up. I don't know if they'd have to go to the point of going to a solid front axle again...although it would be kinda cool! I think they should keep the duramax the way it is and just keep improving and upgrading it as they go along. Look at the cummins I6 for example. The basic design of the engine is basically the same as its been for the last 20 years. If GM sticks with the Duramax theres no reason why it could be as awsome of a motor as a 5.9 is. IMO
First time I had my 2009 Sierra in the mud the lower part of the air dam came loose and dug into the mud - became more of a "mud" dam than an air dam. It's bolted on the ends but only snaps on in the front middle, so it can easily come loose. Not a bad idea to remove it, can't see that it serves much purpose anyway. You still have the upper part of the air dam below the chrome bumper in place.
@gardmans1 Sorry but chrome wont get you home. Chrome is kind of gay dude especially on a truck....maybe on a ford it looks good because fords are scared to get dirty but on a gm truck please dont.

i got 33 inch nittos terra grappler.....in the front i put a 2 inch level kit and put 2 inch blocks on the rear end. i also took the lower part of the air dam off for a little more clearance.
