This game is really awesome but the bad thing about this game is the driving mechanics. The drifts are not good as Hot Pursuit and also the driving is not thrilling as in Hot Pursuit.

everythink is about polygons...and these fuckings polygons in this game are disaster...less than other games has and worse qualitty of terrent...bad balanced sound,cars are same,bad drifting (and automatic drifting of course),bad handling generally,graphic is not special still game uses a lot of CPU and GPU!!

@tuniturntablist They're both fantastic games, I'd have to say Split/Second for now because Trackmania 2 isn't really finished yet, only the Canyon environment has been released. There's still Valley and the last unannounced environment. Still, Trackmania 2 is really fun, single player has a ton of tracks, but the single environment can get stale. You still have a track editor and multiplayer online for tons of other tracks. SS is generic but has fun gameplay and decent music, it all depends.

@Mitsubushi99 im sorry but il have to disagree with you...pc is much more customizable than xbox and there are a hell lot of games for pc so pc gamers can never get bored and pc is not just about gaming but much more and in pc you dont have to pay every month to play online like xbox.... pc is better than xbox and ps3. :)

Probably developped as focussed console engine (360 lead platform likely) with rushed pc port.

crytek engines developped as pc first with later console ports i suspect.

Rather than 'bad optimization' you would say 'economics', driving games sell far less on PC's as far as I know so they dont spend as much time on it. games like this often only just break even. Corners are cut to get by.

by contrast, unreal engine (PC originated FPS engine) always trailed in PS3 optimization

Split Second or Blur? I can't decide they're so similar, and there are like the same amount of people saying Blur is better the there are people saying this is better. I think I should get Blur but maybe a bit more expensive. My dad wants to get NFS Shirt + I Also want Fallout 3.
