he is an outstanding guitarist with incredible technique and arsenal of wicked licks but he constantly has that "i know i am pretty good" smirk on his face.

Not sure if it is just coz he is overly laid back but it is always there and on his tutorial dvds.

Never saw a statue of a hater, Leif and you don't know what you're talking about. I had some lessons with DK in the 90s and got loads out of it. He was a real lateral thinker who learned from all his students too, he came to see my band a couple of times - he's a seriously good player !
