I have the same bass too. What was your reasoning behind changing the pickups to Ken Smiths? And how do you like them?

Pickups and preamp where already changed when I got it. So far I like them. Now are they going to stay in there? Im not sure but its either going to be smiths, or SGD lutherie sidewinders. The preamp will probably be changed though.

you may want to head down the WAL-MART or the nearest hardware store...and get a halogen lamp...they run hot...but they are perfect for video. Really bright!!
