i bought my revlon liner at walmart for 5 dollars and while its works fairly fine on the waterline it doesnt last 16hrs on waterline but on the uppereyelid it lasts even up to more than 16hrs it is a very bold color thaqt works really well

it u want a long lasting eyeliner for your waterline loreal infallible never fail eyeliner last 16 hrs and stays on very bold on waterline

Sad to say both liners smudge on me. Revlon's was not all that bad but UD makes me turn into a panda in less than an hour. I've tried 3 shades (yeyo, bourbon and stash) and noticed that they have different formula for matte and glittery liners. Glittery liners are not as soft and thus stays a tad bit better. But yeah, I don't really like either of them. Gosh Velvet Liners are by far the best I've tried so far. Even beats MUFE Aqua Eyes!

@yangtanw Did you try using an eyeshadow primer underneath and setting it with an eyeshadow? I did a revised version of this Product Wars. Episode 15 I believe.

gotta go out and try the revlon now. I have a problem where I wear eyeliner and then after awhile, I get the crazy crack whore look because it smudges.

Do you set your eyeliner with eyeshadow?

Try gel liners. I've been using Stila smudgepot as of late and it doesn't smudge on me. A cheaper alternative that i've been hearing people rave about is the Wet & Wild gel liner.

Oh dear! I def had that happen before at a party and needed to clean up right away. At least you can fix smudged out eyeliner. This past weekend, my eyes were so irritated from my contacts that they were red. It looked like I was high! Not cool.

this was a great video. great information. I can't seem to find anything that stays on the waterline. urban decay is very creamy and I love it. However it seems I am constantly sharpening the pencil and its gone in no time. Thanks for the video!!!

the victoria secret very sexy eye pencil is the same as the urban decay. its cheaper too. i looove itt. they re both just as creamy. and i t hink the victoria secret has less ingredients.

Thanks for bringing that up, I'm aware that the skin of your hand is different than on your eyes. It was just to show how the product takes longer to build up in colour and how it tugs on the skin.

the revlon liner is super black which i love and stayed on all day but it smudges especially around my inner eye corner. it's so creamy that it clumps when i'm filling in between my lashes. i went back to my mac powerpoint. stays on all day with barely any smudges. buried treasure is my fave. anyhoo, i will try the urban decay one too. and of course, i LOVE your product wars especially cuz you pick the products that i'm curious about and you give me great info for my alternatives. keep it up!

I think it will. It is best to set your eyeliner with a matching eyeshadow to make it last longer.

no eyeliner really stays on anyone's waterline, fiona :] I use a NARS pencil in white for my lower waterline, and half of it fades away at the end of the day...I guess the only solution is to reapply xD

You should also compare them to Enkore's DIY blush cleanser that I use all the time!!

What do you use to sharpen the Urban Decay pencil?

I use Revlon's dual pencil sharpener. I got this years ago at my local drugstore.

You should try speaking more from your heart than reading your bullet points...its just more natural and easier for us to watch since it won't seem so commercialized

none of these stay on my waterline either! shame! to apply the revlon eyeliner easier, you can warm up the eyeliner (just like a shadestick) by rolling the eyeliner in your palms to soften the eyeliner. :) hope this helps!

one trick that may (or may not) help the revlon apply better is taking a lighter and putting the tip over the flame for about 1-2 seconds and you have to wait for a little so it can cool down a little and then you can apply it
