@cutesame17 Might want to reconsider the book (the bible) you're claiming faith in (or at least that's what your religion originated from). As a former Catholic (born and raised that way, grew up and realized it's all bs) I can tell you without a doubt that that book most certainly outlines homosexuality of any sort as a "sin". The book is a collective work of old, outdated, over-translated stories that just don't apply in today's world. It's all bullshit.

The older you get, the more you realize the "anti-gay" agenda is a product of organized religion. It always has been. And yes, it most certainly gets old. People who are able to see through the bullshit generally see through the overall bullshit of organized religion. It's all a trick to force you into conformity, keep you in line with what church leaders want, and giving clergymen your money. Spend your time/cash elsewhere on something genuinely useful.

I don't believe in the Christian god, don't believe in Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, etc... don't believe in elves, Santa, or the tooth fairy either.  Claiming "faith" in anything, whether it be Christianity, Islam, or any other religion is as logical as claiming "faith" that there is a magical invisible gnome living in your ass. There is no evidence for any of those things. Gut feelings aren't evidence.

You make some good simple points- if people who are against LGBT can't get it through their heads that being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender is just natural, then they should 'be seen and not heard' or bashed for being so judgemental and prejudiced. Luckily, LGBTs are more civil than to display those lower forms of behavioural abuses previously mentioned. Yes, people do not choose their sexual orientation, just like they don't choose their skin colour. Do not hate, love....
