I always supported the philosophy that Harthouse adopted during its early years: to create a experimental playground where creative minds, with real talent and soul, could explore the potential of the analog machines and push the boundaries of electronic music to amazing new levels.....but now, the Harthouse of TODAY have completely lost it, producing lame commercial minimal shit and adopting the use of computers instead of synths. It's sad no one had the chance to listen to the real thing.
Thanx Marc for Your fast response! I grown up with German Trance sound from Eye Q & Harthouse! That is also my music taste. Please, tell me one thing... I found on "Discogs" that some guys describes that sound as Goa Trance!!! Am I stupid, deaf or something, cause I can hear difference between Psy Trance and German-Harthouse sound (Kox Box is something different, and I don't like their work that much)???!!!
Appologize-CARPE NOCTEM "IS" a monster by these guys and have that as well. Anyone remember TESTE-THE WIPE? eeerie dark monster trance track nearly stinging to listen to. I dont know how to post so I can send it to you.
du hast es reaktiviert. voll auf peilung... brrr ...das omen ruft... ich krieg gänsehaut und neuronale kribbelattacken wenn ich das höre. best time in my life. danke, meister! dagegen is alles was heute läuft flach... kissyourfeetformp3...
I have it an mp.3 file from my decks if you want it longer. Also, try all the way slowed down, it's rather haunting. let me know and have much more I can run from my decks to my software and create files for uploading. I use to be a trance dj early to mid nineties and have alot. Carpe Noctem isnt another monster by them-Want it? REALLY try this slowed way down and see what it's like-Cheers!
I really like this. However, it's not the kind of sound that's easy to just "listen" to. But I could totally see how I'd get really into it on the dancefloor. Thanks for posting this!

hi, sure,
the synth is a Clavia Nord Lead 1 (the red one), the rack synth is a Roland JD-990. Two classic synths :)
Oh yeah i forgot the Akai MPC-2000XL drummachine.

I agree completely, this is nothing like psytrance/goa. Much more creative and varied.

WOW... I can't believe my eyes! If someone has more of Harthouse / Eye Q Records, please share it with us!
btw, I think "Nerv" and "Woy" are the best tracks from Eternal Basement!
Do You have something from Pulse, like "Ex-Tensions (Vinyl)" (Cariño / Behind The Eyes)?
Regards!

I have one or Two pulse records, my fave is Pulse - At the new Place. Got that on vinyl.
Cheers

EB's "Taking Place In You" is a godly anthem - it deserves a better video.
Anyway, thank's for posting and thanks for letting me know there are some ppl left that listen to decent Techno and not only bullcrap.
4 points.
