I wish Catholic Church was courageous enough to stand for the words of John XXII: "The Church needs a Holy Madness".

But that is certainly to ask too much for one of the most conventional orthodoxies in the world! No... too dangerous!... The good Pope was kidding! Playing with words...

Vatican II, as well as the Post Council "Spirit", misinterpreted or not, ruined the Church! However, there is always hope of restoration, due to Christ's promise that the Gates of Hell will not prevail!

The problem with that is that the church is far worse now. Empty seminaries, massive conversion to protestantism, empty churches, child abuse and confusion. Everything is good for you, even voodoo is sacred. We need a contra-vatican II, like the contra-reformation.

The real problem is the mistranslation of Vatican II. Rock music, Altar Girls, Church Architecture are things that where never even allowed at the council. Thankfully, with the Moto Propio of Pope Benedict XVI, we are starting to see the auctual Vatican II coming to life.
