@Razer1103 Well, the village doesn't have a texture pack on it, it's solid colors. The model he shows getting printed does have a texture pack, but it's not obvious. That said, you maybe get 8x8 resolution on a texture tile, if you're lucky. Still, that's enough to lay down redstone, rails, ladders, and other details. Bookshelves look cute! The cake's cakelike. Check out the Mineways Flickr group for some examples.

This video particularly interest me. I was currently enrolled in a Engineering Design And Drafting course. For my final project I chose to research Rapid Prototyping. I also enjoy this game itself. I am glad to see that they have found a way to convert the Minecraft Data, to a useable file-type for the Printer itself.

Thanks for doing this interview. I am still interested in this technology. I am glad that they are still investing into it.

@izeckx no it's not, it really is that expensive, we have have a 3D printer at school it does cost this much. It's to do with the way the machine works, it takes about 2 hours to make a 1x1x1cm cube.
