  • We're both wearing ear plugs. Can't shoot a rifle correctly with muffs on.

  • @baserigger

Try Peltor Shotgunner muffs there tapered at the bottom but still not perfect. Again, if guns are openly available then sound suppressors should be too. I had to pay $200 tax on a $240 can, over taxation with minimal representation. Maybe one day the NRA will stop trying to sell me car insurance and sending me an NRA hat made in china emblazoned with the US flag to actually do their job.

  • OMG I think my ear drums are bleeding? Where are the ear muffs?

  • The guy that bought it has only run Wolf through it since purchasing it... at least 2 cases. He also has 2 Bushmasters so he has to share the love.

  • i read that you sold the gun i believe? but when you had it how much wolf did you run through it and how did she hold up?

  • is this gun worth the money? or should i save up and get s something better?

  • @Peckerwood702

For christ's sake, research and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. I know I'm going to get many Oly Arms fans coming down on me, but the fact of the matter is, these are NOT built to the same level of quality as other brand. Keep in mind, you'll only being paying for the rifle once, ammo costs will quickly eclipse it. Pay a little more for a lifetime worth of quality. Spend another month saving money and reading up on various models. You'll be happy you did.

  • is this gun work $600?

  • is a ar 15 better than a m4 and how can u tell the difrence between ar-15 m4 hk and grenedeer or watever it is they all look the same as a m4

  • VRAIMENT SUPER COMME ARME J;ADORE SA

  • hows the accuracy?

  • the guy with the hat seems high

  • I love my olympic. Ive had it for a few years now. Ive never had any problems outta mine. It feeds anything I give it.

  • Don't let Olympic see you shooting lacquer coated through it. They will void the warranty on it. It will feed the lacquer coated, but if you get the camber hot, what happens is the lacquer will melt, which is fine while it's hot, but as soon as it cools down, you'll not be able to clean it out, and the ammo will not fit in the chamber again. You'll have to send it back to Oly to have them get it out. Not good for the gun.

  • You know, something weird is that it would work fine this summer,, as soon as the temp started getting colder this fall, it would start jamming again.. Weird

  • I have an Olympic ar also. They only thing Is that when it was new, wolfe ammo would get Jamed. Federal worked perfectly. I guess the spring would respond too fast for the Wolfe ammo. Other than that, I love this rifle..

  • Exact issue with my Olympic arms Ar, although I've still only put about 800 rounds through mine since I've had it. american rifles are not to fond of steel cases, is the wolfe working fine for you now?

  • @guerra0824 The springs have nothing at all regarding problems jamming using the Wolf Ammo.

With any AR you must use ammo with the right amount of pressure to cycle the bolt .

The wolf ammo is cheep low pressure ammo and even from batch to batch of wolf ammo it my or my not work in your AR .

I build Ar's professionally, I see from AR owners bring their guns to me for repairs is the owners had been using Russian steel case ammo that damaged the chamber so bad I needed to replace the barrel.

  • I have the same rifle and it has never failed me yet. I also have a Spikes, a bushmaster, two Stags, and an AK. I have to say after several years of shooting these type of rifles the Olympic arms is the most dependable and accurate of the lot. Also the least expensive.

  • Anyone shot a pistol caliber AR? Thinking about purchasing a 45 ACP to compliment my1911.

  • how would you know what model it is, does it say on the gun somewhere?

i mean if you were buying it used at a gun show or something how do you differentiate models.

also did the stock in the video comes with this or did you buy it, if bought what kind

  • new to guns, but thanks for the nice response. Sorry that reading my question on a youtube message board was so rough on you. Actually i will continue to ask questions like that on youtube or anywhere else on the internet. it's a lot easier for me to type this than to run down to a gun shop everytime i have a minor question. But again thanks for the sage advice.

  • @Popsicle22754 Why would h e want to do that? Maybe you should mind your own business.

  • get over your self...

  • Nice post. 5 Five-Pointers :P

  • you should be careful with that steel ammo from wolf or anyother steel cased round because it will eventually destroy your shell deflector on your AR no matter who made yours. Steel is ok on all soviet block weapons because they're just pieces of steal screwed on some wood but not anything american.

  • yeah I had a chance to get one of these new, same model, and three mags, and aimpoint sight for 599$ last week. Man I wish I had the money that was a steal! So how you liking it after you put a lot of rounds through it?

  • My buddy has it now and loves it. He just got the Spikes .22 conversion for it this week but hasn't got a chance to test it out.

  • @olchevyman

shit man, the aimpoint alone was worth almost that. sorry you didnt have the funds, sounds like a great deal.

  • I read on the Oly web site that you ought to be cautious using lacquered ammo. When it hot, all is well, but after the gun cools, before you clean it, the lacquer can coat the barrel and cause problems.

    Hack

  • Pretty much whatever you like. I personally keep my SHTF mags loaded with Lake City but for just target shooting at dirt clods, Wolfe or Barnaul works just fine. I think Barnaul seems to be a little hotter than the Wolfe.

  • So, what's the best ammo? What would you recommend?

  • @PeaOches Brass case ammo , don't use steel case ammo of any kind in AR's .

  • @Moldovawineimporter y? ive never had a problem with any steel case ammo. if you clean the gun like ur supposed to it wont be a problem

  • Which Olympic Arms model is that?

  • K3B
