I'm only in my teen years, and I've searched more things about 9/11 and 9/11 tributes, and for some reason, this is the video I keep coming back to. Very well thought of, this must have taken many weeks to think of.
I've always felt the United States' response to the devastating events of September 11th should have been peaceful and reflective of our humanity. I created a video and posted it on my channel to honor those who lost their lives that morning and in the wars that followed. Peace is possible, but it has to start somewhere.
At my University, I enrolled in a class that discussed the impact of 9/11 on literature (world literature) and this video was featured in the lecture. This video is one of the few that is actually about remembering the day and the past that is now long gone, others tend to promote vengeance and hate. Kudos to you for actually making a video about remembrance and reflection.
i was only 5 back then i didn't even know what happend but i think all the people that we're in there the people that we're working and ones that we're coming to work...That day changed everyones life the first one was bad but, if that second plane didnt hit that other tower it still wouldnt be the same Rip Everyone who died in this horrible disaster.
My oldest child was a toddler, my youngest was an infant. They didn't know what happened back then. Today, as a part of our homeschool curriculum, I had them watch it. 7 1/2 years and it still affects me as it did when I watched it unfold on the television those years ago.
hello I am sabrina I come from Germany and I am 17 years old ... I am very sad about what happened on that day is because this is the worst thing I've ever noticed ... I feel with where you live have left but also for those who still grieve for relatives or friends ... RIP
I'm an American who teaches at a Uni in England. I have shown this video to my class the last two years in lecture, and the students' reactions are indescribable. This is by far the best tribute film produced.
Thank you CodeTech for wonderfully capturing the true meaning of this tragedy.
oh my good lord... the is a terrible sight. Great video.... favorited.. great job i showed it to my child and he too understood thank you so much sir!
@pinkpineapplekate first of all it was you who attack us first! we muslims need to respond with an attack on you scums! you have destroyed the world, and now we give you back! the war is promised, and you need to vanish before we stop! the 2 towers where just the start;))) The muslims are blessed, not like you fat americans and europeans! Muslims are here to correct the mistakes you have made!
join us muslims and you will be safe! if not you dont deserve to live!
very nicely done and it's probably the best tribute i've seen. although i'm disappointed by the last line, it could have ended in some positive message of hope in peace instead of one of vengeance.
I left this comment because I was curious if anyone would respond to it.
The last line is "Never forget this day." I'm very sorry that you think remembering an important event is somehow associated with "vengeance".
The worst possible outcome would be if people forget.
You cannot have "peace" when you have enemies willing to do this kind of thing, and you cannot have "peace" until those enemies are either removed or change their ways.
you are right as long as you precisely know what your enemies are. for example, Nazi Germany. but when it's as blurry a definition as it is today ("terrorism"?), you are doomed to fail if your aim is to remove them. you could exterminate half of mankind and you'd still not be sure.
the only way you can have peace is to be yourself a shining example of peace and civilization and advocate for it, instead of 'sending other birds' back, which only repeats the sorrow of 9/11 somewhere else.
That Was So Good.. It Makes You Realise How Important That Day Was And That We Should Never Forget it.. Its So Sad That Thousands Of People Died that Day.. thats a horrible way to die:(.. great vid!
You are so right. They were a symbol of freedom and they were beautiful. I was born and raised in NY and everyday I would look for them. They held on so many lives would be saved. My prayers go out to the families who lost loved one on this horrific day.
I feel like crap, cuz I was young when this happened and I had no Idea what was going on, so I messed around...and now I feel worthless, "crying". touching video
well ninjasyron, i kinda feel like you. but i wasnt that young... well i was 9. and as soon as i came home from school. i was looking at my mom wierdly. cuz she had tears in her eyes. i asked her wat was wrong and i looked on the TV and saw 2 building that i didnt know anything about burning. and then falling down. i cryed
I was homeschooled at the time, I woke up confused. I think I was 9 too...I'm not sure. I cry whenever I see this video. after the 9/11 I had a serious dream after all of it happened...& when I saw the movie (world trade center) I had the same dream. I'll tell you the dream if you wanna hear it cuz I'm bored.
i am from germany and think its a great video with a great song and its a good way to give honour to those who lost their lives in these great and wonderful twin towers we will never forget and stand together
I hadn't really thought about that day for 4 years... only this year I started trying to find good vidoes about it, and this is by far, the best one I have found. This should bring tears to anyone's eyes. The 'story' was well written. I tired to watch it a second time, and failed. Very good work.
Im sorr to have to be the only cynical person on this thread, perhaps I am one of the only non Americans but i really cannot see the merit in humanising these two structures of steel! I think it isn't a dignified way of describing what came to be tombs for people trapped inside ...
I think your words escape from reality in a way that offends me so much!!
The idea of anthropomorphizing the buildings was to frame the events in a context that kids can understand. As adults we can comprehend what happened, but to children, that is meaningless. Especially now that 5 years have passed, kids are growing up with this event already a distant historical event.
This video was designed to instruct kids on the events of the day in a format they are used to, in kids books animals talk, tractors talk, even trains talk. Why not buildings?
Ragdoob, those 2 stuctures of steel were the biggest buildings i the world, and we built them, we lost many peoiple, we took much pride aND LOVE THE TWIN TOWERS so, pls, try to understand what they meant to us. its liuke a car, or a house in a way, you learn to take pride and love it with all your heart
Though I am from india and I have never even been to the US this video brought tears to my eyes. I feel for all those who lost their lives on 9/11. Hope there comes a day when the earth is rid of dirty politicians and evil men.
those conspiracy theorys were BULL!! but i Do, however, think there is a slight possiblity that Flight 93 was maybe shot down, but it had to be done if it was... Those passengers on 93 still fought back and saved hundreds, maybe even thousands of lives that day.. please, please, do not be upset about this, comment.. i am saying its only a possibility, i dont believe it though. 9/11 over but will never be forgotten
I noticed the one comment you left on here stating you delete all of the conspiracy theorists comments... thank you. No one needs to read that trash, especially people who lost loved ones or people like me who went to war to bring justice to the people who did this. Great video by the way, pretty touching.
This is a wonderful, wonderful video, and deserves being featured. I was working in my office, in the second giant, that day. I made it out less than 5 minutes before it was hit. I'd loved looking out of the windows, so tall and majestic, able to see everything for miles and miles. Thank you, thank you, thank you
Wow, I nearly cried. Watching your lovely rendition of what happened really took me back and brought those emotions I felt once more. I remember vacationing in New York when I was younger and seeing those huge towers over looking the city, but didn't get a chance to explore them. As someone mentioned before, I thought that they'll always be there and I could visit them anytime I wanted to. Never did it occured to me that one day, TWC would cease to exist.
Thats so nice Man!! Keep it like this its very emotional video I've been in the Army since that day and still serve...just want to know if i can get a copy if not then I understand my man...Peace
I went on vacation to the World Trade Center one month before September 11th. I remember going to the toppest part of the tower and taking photos with my dad.I still have a vivid memory of going into the building and seeing so many people around me and buying myself a hotdog right outside it.
wow... this video really changed my view on how the event occured.. i was in 5th grade back then.. but i always hoped to visit those two giants.. but now ill never have the chance.. i didnt understand it either like Moose.. but wow..

This is a wonderful video. Not to be political but this allows me to always remember why we have gone to war! Thank you for the great video. Life feels unfair at times.

I posted a comment on this video two years ago.
The first time I watched it, I cried. The second, I couldn't finish watching it. This time, I cried more than I had the first time.
This IS, one of the best tribute videos for anything I have ever seen.
I can't believe only 25 thousand people have seen this: it needs to be seen by 25 million.
What really got to me in viewing this time was 5:42. "He tried to warn the men below with a mighty roar."
It's not often something brings out such emotion.
