  • I'm only in my teen years, and I've searched more things about 9/11 and 9/11 tributes, and for some reason, this is the video I keep coming back to. Very well thought of, this must have taken many weeks to think of.

  • I also created my own tribute for that tragedy.. please help me to scattered this video to reached the families who lost their love ones...

    "Iridescent 9/11 Attack Victims Tribute - ShiQueL12"

    thank you very much indeed..

  • Wow....... Rest in Peace to all the innocent people who died that day... Too many lives have been lost and familys that have been affected

  • Thank you for this video

  • At my University, I enrolled in a class that discussed the impact of 9/11 on literature (world literature) and this video was featured in the lecture. This video is one of the few that is actually about remembering the day and the past that is now long gone, others tend to promote vengeance and hate. Kudos to you for actually making a video about remembrance and reflection.

  • This video is the greatest tribute to 9/11 i have ever seen. It should be shown to everyone.

26000+ views so far. maybe you should put it up again with a different name since its hard to find this video.

  • @USCombine Or a rename of the title. But even then, it wouldn't get found well. A year ago again, and it's only gotten another 1000 views.

  • that sounds like Sigur Ros. Beautiful band.

  • im sorry america. but thats the begining of world doom. 2012 is the year to fear. 2001 is the day to remember!!!!!

  • i was only 5 back then i didn't even know what happend but i think all the people that we're in there the people that we're working and ones that we're coming to work...That day changed everyones life the first one was bad but, if that second plane didnt hit that other tower it still wouldnt be the same Rip Everyone who died in this horrible disaster.

  • My oldest child was a toddler, my youngest was an infant. They didn't know what happened back then. Today, as a part of our homeschool curriculum, I had them watch it. 7 1/2 years and it still affects me as it did when I watched it unfold on the television those years ago.

  • WICH SONG IS IT?

  • I posted a comment on this video two years ago.

The first time I watched it, I cried. The second, I couldn't finish watching it. This time, I cried more than I had the first time.

This IS, one of the best tribute videos for anything I have ever seen.

I can't believe only 25 thousand people have seen this: it needs to be seen by 25 million.

What really got to me in viewing this time was 5:42. "He tried to warn the men below with a mighty roar."

It's not often something brings out such emotion.

  • that day will always be remembered

  • hello I am sabrina I come from Germany and I am 17 years old ... I am very sad about what happened on that day is because this is the worst thing I've ever noticed ... I feel with where you live have left but also for those who still grieve for relatives or friends ... RIP

  • I'm an American who teaches at a Uni in England. I have shown this video to my class the last two years in lecture, and the students' reactions are indescribable. This is by far the best tribute film produced.

Thank you CodeTech for wonderfully capturing the true meaning of this tragedy.

  • Thank YOU for showing it around. I rarely characterize myself as "proud", but I am definitely proud of this one.

This is already so far in the past that a lot of kids don't even know it happened.

  • Oh my god 4:07 and on...the plane goes straight in and makes the building look like a paper structure.. insignificant..

    so scary

  • really nice video

    great edit.

  • oh my good lord... the is a terrible sight. Great video.... favorited.. great job i showed it to my child and he too understood thank you so much sir!

  • this video made me cry especialy the way u referd to the towers as protecting gients.

lovely video i would be proud to be an american

R.I.P to all those who lost there live and i would like 2 say i am so sorry for familys lost

    god bless america xxxxxxxxx

  • :( sad for all them who died r.i.p who died

  • very nicely done and it's probably the best tribute i've seen. although i'm disappointed by the last line, it could have ended in some positive message of hope in peace instead of one of vengeance.

  • I left this comment because I was curious if anyone would respond to it.

The last line is "Never forget this day." I'm very sorry that you think remembering an important event is somehow associated with "vengeance".

The worst possible outcome would be if people forget.

You cannot have "peace" when you have enemies willing to do this kind of thing, and you cannot have "peace" until those enemies are either removed or change their ways.

  • you are right as long as you precisely know what your enemies are. for example, Nazi Germany. but when it's as blurry a definition as it is today ("terrorism"?), you are doomed to fail if your aim is to remove them. you could exterminate half of mankind and you'd still not be sure.

the only way you can have peace is to be yourself a shining example of peace and civilization and advocate for it, instead of 'sending other birds' back, which only repeats the sorrow of 9/11 somewhere else.

  • Rest in Peace...everyone who died on September 11th...

  • Being born and raised a New Yorker, this really touched me...never forget

  • wow that was great, best tribute i've seen

  • That Was So Good.. It Makes You Realise How Important That Day Was And That We Should Never Forget it.. Its So Sad That Thousands Of People Died that Day.. thats a horrible way to die:(.. great vid!

  • 11.September NEVE FORGET Tarnow POLAND

  • That was a well done peice-I for one will never ever forget what happend. The UK will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the USA..

  • Patience... I know YouTube is having some problems playing this, I'll try to post it somewhere else soon.

  • has you can see many people died that day, so get more respect

  • You are so right. They were a symbol of freedom and they were beautiful. I was born and raised in NY and everyday I would look for them. They held on so many lives would be saved. My prayers go out to the families who lost loved one on this horrific day.

    I Will Never Forget 9-11-2001

  • Hello? Who sang the song, and what is the name of the song?

  • This was already answered in the comments. The song is by Sigur Ros, called "Njosnavelin", and was on the Vanilla Sky soundtrack.

  • in 4:16 (clip video) u will see like a face... i saw alot of faces.. of smoke in the word trade center when it blow up...

  • where did you get the video clips from?

  • Who sang the song, and what is the name of the song?

  • Hey dude i see that u what the name of that song well here it is, Sigur Ros - Njosnavelin

  • :-( "crying"

I feel like crap, cuz I was young when this happened and I had no Idea what was going on, so I messed around...and now I feel worthless, "crying". touching video

  • well ninjasyron, i kinda feel like you. but i wasnt that young... well i was 9. and as soon as i came home from school. i was looking at my mom wierdly. cuz she had tears in her eyes. i asked her wat was wrong and i looked on the TV and saw 2 building that i didnt know anything about burning. and then falling down. i cryed

  • I was homeschooled at the time, I woke up confused. I think I was 9 too...I'm not sure. I cry whenever I see this video. after the 9/11 I had a serious dream after all of it happened...& when I saw the movie (world trade center) I had the same dream. I'll tell you the dream if you wanna hear it cuz I'm bored.

  • Even though years have passed it still is hard to believe, and the tears still come. thanks for a great tribute

  • WOW so good im from canada and i am crying now we need to find oussama and kick hes ass

  • i am from germany and think its a great video with a great song and its a good way to give honour to those who lost their lives in these great and wonderful twin towers we will never forget and stand together

  • WOW!

  • I hadn't really thought about that day for 4 years... only this year I started trying to find good vidoes about it, and this is by far, the best one I have found. This should bring tears to anyone's eyes. The 'story' was well written. I tired to watch it a second time, and failed. Very good work.

  • Im sorr to have to be the only cynical person on this thread, perhaps I am one of the only non Americans but i really cannot see the merit in humanising these two structures of steel! I think it isn't a dignified way of describing what came to be tombs for people trapped inside ...

I think your words escape from reality in a way that offends me so much!!

Sorry to be the party pooper!

    P D U.K

  • The idea of anthropomorphizing the buildings was to frame the events in a context that kids can understand. As adults we can comprehend what happened, but to children, that is meaningless. Especially now that 5 years have passed, kids are growing up with this event already a distant historical event.

This video was designed to instruct kids on the events of the day in a format they are used to, in kids books animals talk, tractors talk, even trains talk. Why not buildings?

  • Ragdoob, those 2 stuctures of steel were the biggest buildings i the world, and we built them, we lost many peoiple, we took much pride aND LOVE THE TWIN TOWERS so, pls, try to understand what they meant to us. its liuke a car, or a house in a way, you learn to take pride and love it with all your heart

  • DID YOU MAKE THIS?

  • Yes, I did.

  • P.S. The first building: "I will be okay. Just let me rest awhile." Just stunning writing throughout this incredible video.

  • This is the most amazing, beautiful, original, heartbreaking re-telling of 9/11 I have ever seen.

  • Though I am from india and I have never even been to the US this video brought tears to my eyes. I feel for all those who lost their lives on 9/11. Hope there comes a day when the earth is rid of dirty politicians and evil men.

  • I too hope that we will be able to overcome wars and hatred and live in peace

  • impeccable job with this. if the fallen could see this, they'd be very proud.

  • The song is by Sigur Ros, called "Njosnavelin", and was on the Vanilla Sky soundtrack.

  • what is the name of that song

  • this one brought a tear to my eye good video....

  • those conspiracy theorys were BULL!! but i Do, however, think there is a slight possiblity that Flight 93 was maybe shot down, but it had to be done if it was... Those passengers on 93 still fought back and saved hundreds, maybe even thousands of lives that day.. please, please, do not be upset about this, comment.. i am saying its only a possibility, i dont believe it though. 9/11 over but will never be forgotten

  • My God. This should be written into a book for little kids about 9/11. Brilliant.

Seriouly. You should make this into a book.

  • I noticed the one comment you left on here stating you delete all of the conspiracy theorists comments... thank you. No one needs to read that trash, especially people who lost loved ones or people like me who went to war to bring justice to the people who did this. Great video by the way, pretty touching.

  • The best tribute I have seen yet. Those lost would be proud.

  • This is a wonderful, wonderful video, and deserves being featured. I was working in my office, in the second giant, that day. I made it out less than 5 minutes before it was hit. I'd loved looking out of the windows, so tall and majestic, able to see everything for miles and miles. Thank you, thank you, thank you

  • Wow, I nearly cried. Watching your lovely rendition of what happened really took me back and brought those emotions I felt once more. I remember vacationing in New York when I was younger and seeing those huge towers over looking the city, but didn't get a chance to explore them. As someone mentioned before, I thought that they'll always be there and I could visit them anytime I wanted to. Never did it occured to me that one day, TWC would cease to exist.

  • I meant to type WTC, not TWC. I apologize for the error.

  • what a god's creature you are. god gave you life because you have an obligations were you live. ur a god one created by od. god bless you

  • Wow amazing really really amazing, heh made me tear up a bit >.<

  • WOW Very good video one of the best out there....

  • This was the most beautiful tribute I have ever seen. It made me look at it in a different way

  • I do read these comments regularly, and I remove the "conspiracy theorist" posts... just so people know, I do that.

Thank you for the comments, I do appreciate them.

  • Thats so nice Man!! Keep it like this its very emotional video I've been in the Army since that day and still serve...just want to know if i can get a copy if not then I understand my man...Peace

  • I went on vacation to the World Trade Center one month before September 11th. I remember going to the toppest part of the tower and taking photos with my dad.I still have a vivid memory of going into the building and seeing so many people around me and buying myself a hotdog right outside it.

    ~comment from the West Side

  • wow... this video really changed my view on how the event occured.. i was in 5th grade back then.. but i always hoped to visit those two giants.. but now ill never have the chance.. i didnt understand it either like Moose.. but wow..

  • You're an amazing, touched person to have created such an astounding piece of art. I was in fourth grade when this occured, and I am now 14. I didn't understand it then, but I do now. That day, after I comprehended it, made me want to accomplish a dream of going into the Armed Forces. Your patriotism here is incredible, and I thank you for this video. God Bless ~

    Moose ~

  • Im very speechless. I, too, am 13 years old. This video reminded me of what it was like when i was in 3rd grade and this happened, and i didnt understand at all what was going on. This is going in my favs.

Thanks so much for making this, and God Bless you.

  • show your courage

  • wow that was depressing. someone give me a hug now...

  • This is the best video I have seen portraying what happened on 9/11. I will NEVER forget!

  • You did do an excellent job. I think that the 9/11 attacks should be replayed over and over again to reawaken the emotions people felt that day.

  • Any of these videos I watch I can't look at the airplane diving into the building, cause all those poor people.

  • That Brought tears to my eyes sayin "Brother",said the second giant,"Now we are both doomed."
