Safe Haven laws work. Thanks to the Safe Haven Laws, last year in New York we went from 16 dead babies in dumpsters, to only 3. So far over 100 babies have been saved since the law was enacted. Life can be harsh and people get desperate. Thank God she didn't dump the child, kill it or hurt it. I am sure the young mother probably didn't understand the law. Nancy Grace should get over her judgmental crap. In New York, they try to find a new family for the baby.
If I was a NewBorn, I'd rather be left on a door step, then had parents that had me when there were 50 years old and would be dead before I even have a chance to finish high school.
