Being Traditional in these types of things is really ridiculous. Everyone has to stay up to date with the rest of the world, that's why countries go through modernization processes. That's why we change from Windows 98 to Windows 7. If the Spaniard's intention was to improve the Baybayin script then there's no harm on using their improvements. Some people really think patriotism is anti-foreignism. That's stupid.

@everythingasian17 The funny thing is, their intention was to make it easier for them, not modernization, what is being stupid is calling other's personal preference stupid. You have to be careful with how you use the term "modernization", just an example, you can accidentally start speaking racial supremacy.

Modernization is not bad, but don't try to spread your discussion into the spaniards, it will offend a lot of people.

@d03411 DANGAL is the tagalog word for honor. There are tagalog-english dictionaries in google. Search it.

yo! how would you write "respect the ocean" or "galang ang dagat" in baybayin? i tried it by just looking at the alphabet but i dont know if im right.
