Hank Sr. appeared on the Grand Ole Opry several times, his most famous performance probably when he encored " Lovesick Blues" SEVEN times, something that has never been duplicated by any artist on the Opry since. Some of Hank's live performances on the Opry can be heard on a cd that was released a few years ago. Hank was however, fired from the Opry because of his drinking.
