  • Literally everyone at my school has a fb but me:( my parents won't let me and I feel so left out :( my teacher asked the class who has a facebook account, and the entire class raised their hands but me :( I get teased for it too.

  • what idiot can buy this book? :D

  • i am over the age of 13 and don't have a facebook but really want one. My mom is freaking out about the sexual predators and I'm trying to explain to her that they can't harass me if I don't accept them as a friend. Any advicee?

  • what is the certain age to be on facebook

  • dude, bad words area big deal, but its not like im affended by them on facebook. I'm a kid!!!

  • R I P michael jackson June 25 2009

  • lol the lady keeps nodding

  • Ok, that's why you have privacy settings. Yes. It's fine for "kids" to go on Facebook.

  • i used the internet since i was 9 and i never chatted with a peado before. if you do, just ban him! there! now you saved your self from watching a 3 minute video

  • should kids use facebook NO they should not even use the internet and facebook like that one lady said they can read post with bad words in it the internet is uncencorsed if you want to teach your kids about the internet moms and dads should wacth them on the internet AT ALL TIMES and the websites that kids should never go on are myspace facebook and youtube

  • @KELLSONIC litsten, i respect your opinion, but beleve me, there is no way to protect your kids from bad language. if there on the internet they will probably find alot of it, but so will they at school. so dont bother to try to protect them COS YOU CANT. And its a bit much...i can i understand myspace and facebook, but youtube is ok to certen extents.

  • @Themastercode1235 thank you i respect yours to but you have to understand there are a lot of trolls on youtube is well and i'm not saying little kids should not be on the internet at all i'm just saying depending on the age they should have there parents with them and as for procteting the kids i know we can't protect them from bad language but i know we can protect them from cyber bullying

  • @KELLSONIC i understand what you say and i think its logical to have youtube supervision if there under 8.

  • @Themastercode1235 your not aloud to go on facebook unless your 13 years or older

  • @pokemonkiller20 yeh, well people make accounts saying there younger. It seriously not as bad as people say, as long as you keep watch of who there talking to.

  • @KELLSONIC WHO CARES ABOUT "bad words" BIG FUCKING DEAL!

  • @xxxTaylorxx3 dude im 11 and it just makes u dirty and a bad influence

  • @KELLSONIC i really don't agree with tht kids should be able to go on fb with parents concent and privacy settings and it depends if u trust ur kid or not

  • Of course they shouldn't use Facebook! They could fall victim to the sick, perverted bungholes on there!

  • should kids 11 and over be on only if the parents had the safty talk?

  • im 11 and i have i facebook but i only invite people i know (like cousin sibling friend etc)

  • hah what most people dont consider is that facebook wasnt designed for adults purpose. Hence ads just like the website being targetted for teenagers.

  • hes drinking beer.... how do u no he is infallible?

  • talk all you want, in the end kids will do what they want to do. its a fact.

  • My own personal feelings is that no child should have one under the age of 13. My reasoning is that you're supposed to be over 13 to even start an account! I will say I got a bit ticked off when I saw a request from my friend's kid....who is three years old. Yeah, like she knows how to use facebook....

  • You got a friend request from a three year old??!! Parents must be spoofing.

  • I got curious and looked at her page. All they did was sign her up for farmville so they could get more stuff... Seriously...why????

  • I think that this was an interesting video and i believe that age of 16 would be good to start facebook.

  • by "kids" do you mean under 13?

  • Good question. Not sure we really established a minimum age, but I generally think we're talking 12 and up.

  • @legogod123 yes Mr.11 year old.

  • Love the Jim Beam in the background

  • I think it's actually kosher wine.

  • It seems that there are lots of perverts who comment on the dadlabs videos, geez check out the dry ice cream video.

  • I've been subscribed for about 7 months now.

  • Facebook can be positive for kids as long as they are old enough to follow a few simple rules and remember that Facebook is a PUBLIC space. It's a great way to help prepare them to be a smart, ethical participant in the online world that they are growing up in -- as long as you are actively involved in their online life. You still have to play the role of a parent -- even in the world of the Internets!

  • Thanks again to Megan and Matt from "Smart Parents Guide to Facebook" for coming in to the studio.

  • If I had kids I would let them! Then I would make them give me their password and I would monitor messages. Maybe even start a chat with her friends to find out what my daughter is doing... Eventually my kid will start to resent me and rebel against my parenting and become pregnant at age 14. Damn you facebook!!!

  • nop! lolz..... i am a kid!! =P =P/......
