She went for her Kindergarden evaluation today and she gets to go have a ride on a school bus. Im totally against her even being on a bus and I drove one for 26 years but thats cause I know what happens if there is no bus aide for the little ones. UGH, she is so very tiny and only weighs 33 pounds as of last week LOL The average is 40 to 45 pounds. All the teachers thought she was adorable ;-)
Her new teacher called her a "Petite Little Princess." Lets hope the teacher keeps that attitude LOL She IS going to continue in a summer reading and language program so thats gonna help as well. Take Care!
@ChromosomesXXY That one is a V-Tech, this is a Fisher/Price. I WAS going to get that one but I thought this one worked a little more to the point for her to use. They are quite similar though. She thinks she's big stuff with her own LapTop LOL
Aren't grandmas the coolest? Your 'polluter'...LOL! is looking very pretty in pink. Looks like MJ has the hang of it already. This generation picks up on technology faster than any other and Mieleigh is certainly no exception. Thanks so much for sharing this precious moment with us.:)

She uses my big computer and does "OK" but the thing is if a box pops up she says OK to download anything and I had to stop her from using it to play pinball LOL Fisher/Price finally made one thats interactive with each move and thats what kids need. Not one to listen to but that asks YOU questions and tells you to move when you are supposed to.
My favorite on there so far is "Letters" It asks the user to pick a certain letter and if you cant it shows you and then asks you to find it. Thats working really well and she is going to be ready for Kindergarden in Sept! Kids today need all the help they can get and this way its FUN L:-)
@OceanTownPictures LOL, I let her use the old camera now and she still only takes video of my feet and the ground LOL But as long as she is having fun. I should let her make a video and post it just for laughs to share whats she has shot :-)
The mentally disabled woman that used to live next door to me had the same toy - she loved it - She was such a nice person to talk with... I will miss her a lot.
@AxeMoose Well, God Bless her! It is a fabulous learning tool and I guess its selling like hot cakes here. Good for her, look...we all have to start somewhere so her getting this toy will be helpful for her because it teaches you to read and do your numbers and a few other things so who ever got it for her must have seen it advertised.
@GMPNY It was her care worker that came in every other day to see if she was doing ok... She got it for her. I am so angry that she and others in the building that where less able to take care of themselves where placed there on their own. I think it went a bit far when they opened the doors in the group homes and let most of them on their own... It would be so easy for her to be taken advantage of! The government saved some money, but at what cost - sorry for the rant...
You are right, they save MONEY but at what cost? Its happened here all over the place as well. I dont understand it and the poor souls who dont have family, its even harder for them.
@AxeMoose Same problems here. Most mentaly disabled people either live in a shel of a "home" on their own or end up living in a dangerous place. I ended up living in a place for prison releases even though I've never been in prison, I ended up living with a convicted murdere. A freind of mine ended up living in a place for nuances.
@GMPNY Mieleigh looks happy with the laptop. I wish I could have a pink laptop but it's always the lower speck ones that can be pink? So girls are thick?
Please tell us when she successfully hacked it for the first time ^^
