@beatlesman369 before the show they all tuned to a harmonica, then while they were performing everybody was tuning with each other, mick was to tuning to keith and to bill,
One word: awkward. This ain't the iconic Mick Jagger here to say the very least! Sure his former comrad died and it's sad, but I mean he's definitely a different Mick beyond all the impact of the death. Strange.
@spicecrop I know it seems a bit weird, let me recite a poem for Brian, okay now let's play, but did you want them to sit around and cry for another hour before playing? People go on about how Mick and Keith didn't care that Brian died, but even through all the jealousy, anger and spite that the three of them went through and had, it's inevitable for Mick and Keith to not have felt TERRIBLE when he died. Mick even said he wasn't good at that sort of thing, so give him a break. At least he did it.
" People... PEOPLE! I just want to say a few words about ...wassisname er, Brian. Who left us a long time after we'd wished he'd left us, expected. I'm going to read a limerick written by that great poet, Scally.... There once was a guy named Brian: who couldn't write but was tryin'. He started the band, but I took command; and now his fans are cryan'. ( Release the mosquitos) And now we're gonna do a new number people- I dedicate this to Brian. Its called Don't Live With Me."
@Taggerung12 They weren't really best buds at this point. Jagger had grown tired of Jones being too fucked up all the time to show up to record. Brian had been dead to the band for quite some time sadly.
@sweetmay73 yeah the butterflies were cool but apparently most of them died because of the volume from the rig and the vibrations that the sound produced was too much for the delicate butterflies bodies
Christ! I don't care if you're high as a bird. Tune your fucking guitar!

And I was 'round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate , replace the name Jesus Christ to Brian Jones and realize Mick and Keith got what they wanted

That musta been hard... wanting them to be quiet so he could say something for his best bud... and they really wouldn't.
All in all... a hard thing to cope with, really.

Johnny's classic played by the Stones in honor of Brian Jones, who loved this song by all accounts. Fantastic upload man.
