  • lol. People there is no such thing as a unstoppable force and a immovable object.

  • Comment removed

  • wtf is the joker saying?

  • When an unstoppable force met an immovable object, they merged and created chuck norris...

  • the force stops and the object moves.. paradox solved!

  • this is truely one of the greatest movies of all time rest in peace Heath Ledger

  • You're peanut butter jelly forever

  • batman sounds like a faggot...

  • WTF is batman saying??? "GRRRHHGULLKRRAGGRASERRR" like really?

  • @NeverMeansForever19 You'll be a padded cell forever.

  • So were they going to make a sequel before he died? The story is kind of left unanswered

  • @RedWingsFan931 I think Joker was definitely going to have a big part in the sequel before Heath Ledger died. Joker is Batman's biggest and most famous enemy, so he can't just be shuffled out of the picture in one film. Unfortunately, all we are likely to get now is a brief mention of him being in Arkham or something.

  • If I have to see one more kemp wesley commercial...

  • You truly are incorruptible - and Batman is - he is a symbol, incorruptible and unwavering

  • Madness is likegravity all it takes is a littel push! ahahahahhaha (umm u ok br---) ahahahahagaha ._.

  • Too bad the dialog was so cheesy in this scene, it really was an epic movie.

  • great line!

  • While both Batman Begins & The Dark Night are amazingly good movies, I only have one problem with both plots, which is the fact that neither movie has The Penguin in it. Which Penguin was one of Batman's oldest enemies. Also being one of the first criminals ever able to escape Batman's clutches. Two-Face should not have been in The Dark Night at all, it should have been Penguin!

  • @LordWood28 I could talk for days about the villains I'd want to see in the nolan batman movies; but he picked the ones he did for a reason. Scarecrow was in the first one, and the first explained Batman's origins. It was showing how terrifying and dark Gotham was without a hero, and how Bruce used his own greatest fear to fight those terrors; bats. Scarecrow=fear. In tdk, Joker's proving that everyone can be corrupted: thus, Harvey was corrupted to becoming two face. Two-face=corruption.

  • "BUTT EYE NO HOW U GOT THESE!" ... stick to just kicking ass batman...

  • "D'you know how i got these scars?"

"No, but i know how you got these!"

Only lame moment of this movie right there.

  • The Joker was the perfect villain in this movie. He's corrupted, he's demented, he's heartless... and he knows it damn well.

  • @DeuceyDee but if there is an anti-hero that could rival even joker's madness, it's deadpool!

  • 2:34 batman's like "oh god here he goes again with this shit."

  • 0:29 Hagrid, is that you?

  • this leaves us a moral story :"search the fucking ship before you sail to anywhere" you never know when a crazy psychopath decided that's he's going to plant 2 tons of explosive on your ship

  • whats the name of the ominous tune when he is left hanging

  • in many ways~this version of the joker says alot about mankind now~he relates to a lot of us.

  • Sorry Joker, there's an answer to that. Maybe if you spent more time reading a science book than burning money (no wonder our economy is shitty).

A universe that contains an unstoppable force cannot contain an immovable object, and vice versia. Or else there's a paradox.

But if they conflicted regardless, the unstoppable force would generate unlimited energy, which the other would absorb with it's unlimited inertia, resulting in a never ending transfer of energy.

  • @Annihal101 The answer is "They surrender" well in Superman it is ...

  • @Annihal101 If the joker is the 'unstoppable force' and batman is the 'immovable object' then it is exactly as the joker says, they will continuously be at war with each other or as you put it: 'a never ending transfer of energy'.

    Great metaphor..

  • @Annihal101 Could you break the immovable object with the unstoppable force?

  • @Annihal101 Or goes through it?

  • Joker is simply the best because he always tries to get batman to kill him

  • The shot were the camera is going up-side down is fantastic. Never before has a movie looked so artful to me. This character relationship is great but not as good as it was in Tim Burton's Batman. Bruce Wayne (Batman) is just fighting the Joker to save people of course, but in Tim burton's, he had a true hate for him. The Joker killed his parents. true the Joker killed Rachel, but Bruce would've gone after Joker even if he haden't.

  • laughing to his death. simply sums up the joker.

  • @beatlesboy183 ......totally agreed!---true mentality of the character or real life person....thats being true to the end.

  • "What were you trying to prove? That deep down everyone is as ugly as you? You're alone."

One of the best lines of all time.

  • Does anyone know the music when the Joker falls off the building?

  • What happened did your balls drop off? Hmm?

  • youll be in a paded cell forever

  • Batman really left the Joker hanging hahahahaha (terrible Joke)

  • What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Overdose perhaps....

  • Why does Batman talk like a bat... It really makes no sense and it seems stupid in this movie. The movie is great and the Joker is amazing, but Batman's voice doesn't have to be like that. What was the director thinking?

  • @jadsta its to hide his identity, he has a very distinct voice anyone could tell who it was

  • @jadsta Batman is actually suppose to have a voice like that. It's hard to think of a good example, but one I remember for sure is 1993's Batman #498, part 15 of Knightfall. Where Jean Paul Valley aka Azrael first becomes Batman following Bruce being crippled by Bane. Here is some advice Robin (Tim Drake) gives Jean Paul before they meet Commissioner Gordon on the roof of the GCPD headquarters: Remember Paul - just stick to the shadows and put on that hoarse, grating voice Bruce uses

  • I wouldn't ever want a sequel of this. It just wouldn't be right without Heath Ledger....

  • 1 person thought there would be fireworks.

  • Joker is a Genius...in a mad evil kind of way...but still a genius

  • good quality

  • 1:17 xD

  • "This city, just showed you, that it's full of people, ready to believe in good."

I always crack up at how long it takes him to fucking say this

  • @Herzeleid3000 LOL

  • i love you Joker

  • 1 sorry guy was caught in the middle of the collision between an Unstoppable Force and an Immovable Object

  • you watched this on the xbox 360 didn't you?

  • freaking nolan's voice :[

  • @creativeinsult That isn't nolan.

  • ''I think you and I...are destined to do this forever''

    ''YAHBHRHNAPDDSELLFREVER''

    ''maybe we could share one.''

WTF??? how could Joker understand what batman's saying?

  • @pascalmonnier It's in the script.

  • @pascalmonnier I think he said " You'll be in a padded cell forever." (BUT thats only because I looked it up)

  • "You'll be in a padded sell forever"?

  • @LOTEK575 Of course the audience understood, but with all the commotion going on, I can't believe half of joker's mind was on 'translating batman's groans' mode.

  • @pascalmonnier Are you retarded?

  • @Rockjael2 .... No?

  • @pascalmonnier if you cant understand him how will you understand bane ?

  • @ZACKWELDERS Only god may know....

  • His look at 0:41 always terrified me.

  • reading over wikipedia I found out that Joker's quote "this is what happens when an unstoppable force..." is actually a subtle reference to a character from the All-star superman issues...

  • @batitony Wikipedia is unreliable... and that quote is from many things, including Before A-S Supes.

  • The preformance of a lifetime for all of them .

  • Utilitarianism vs. Kantianism - The Prisoner's Dilemna, Game Theory in the Dark Knight

  • first time i watched this movie, i got goosebumps when i listened to the joker laugh as he was falling down... truly a moment of terror for me personally

  • His laugh is priceless.

  • so the winner is the unstoppable object...

  • 1:18 that really is laughing in the face of death

  • @Quicksilver920 nah he's laughing coz he thinks he's made batman break his rule

  • @Quicksilver920 I fucking love that laugh

  • ''Oh..you.. you just couldn't let me go now could you?''.. so funny and so true!

  • I can actually imagine Heath playing this same role and looking the same way earlier in his career, but it wouldn't have been AS good, cos he matured so much as an actor very quickly. It's easy to play a character like the Joker but it takes effort and determination to really get inside his head and bring depth to the role, and thats what Heath did

  • @coolbrett No, it's NOT easy playing the Joker, I don't know what you're on.

  • @F0GRAW I worded that wrong. I meant to say, PART of the character would be easy to play and be considered good enough by many, like wearing all the make-up and basically just acting like a crazy person with a clown laugh, but what Heath did was so much more hard work. He got INSIDE the characters head and allowed the Joker to take over. Similar characters to the Joker have been done before and quite frankly, anyone can do it, but Heath's unique approach is what made it unforgettable

  • When an Unstoppable Force meets an Immovable Object Chuck Norris gets born

  • @rowanewiets

    You mean Bruce Lee!

  • @xflames121 no chuck norris

  • @rowanewiets

    Bruce Lee killed Chuck Norris!

  • @xflames121 then why is bruce lee dead and chuck norris alive today?

  • shame on batman!! he didnt allow the joker to explain one his legendary scars story

  • Man the Joker had some really good lines in this movie. The writers for this movie nailed it.

  • "in their last moments people show you who they really are."

what does cackling as you plunge to your death show? what a fucking legend

  • @Stevie2Sxc OMG u're right. I watched him fall and thought about what you typed. The Joker is legendary. I want to write some Batman fanfiction in the future but I would need a PhD in Pyschology and Criminology in order to do the Joker true justice.

  • Towards the end I almost felt like cutting the wire the Joker was hanging from myself . . . you know I really wish the Bat would have just let him fall right then, 'cause the look on the Joker's face . . . . that would have been the funniest thing in history.

  • loved the movie but i cant stand the batmans voice in it

  • 2:11 Everyone is thinking hell yeah!! Comic book reference!! They are destined to fight forever

  • When an ustoppable force met an immovable object, Chuck Norris was born.

  • At 3:15 you can hear the sinisterness in the Joker's laugh towards the end.

He laughs as if its the funniest comedy in the world, then does a deep sinister laugh, then laughs again like it's so f*****g funny to him.

    Great. Ass. Acting.

  • "Maybe you and I are destined to do this forever"

Dag, that is so sad when you think of what happened.

  • Batman 3: : Johnny Depp: The Riddler

  • wish i could work for this man. id do it for free, pry take some licks from batman but its all good.

  • 3:23 love dat laugh

  • Madness is like gravity. All it takes is a little push heeeheheheee

  • @xdemonemokidies its the thing that masks his real voice...otherwise people would be LOL wtf bruce is that you?

  • @AFGalwayz ROFL XD

  • @andywhorehall Get a real job...Hippy

  • sound editing is just perfect, i hold my breath the first time i watch this

  • 2:16-2:18 What the hell is he saying?

  • @GeorgedIDK "You'll be in a padded cell forever."

  • When the camera shot moves round it looks so stupid cos it looks like the Jokers hanging up while floating in the air some how.. its so stupid xD but tis an AWESOME movie

  • @IBleedInsanity I'd like to check this out, whats the band name? "Alice through the Windshield Glass"?

  • The Batman = Unstoppable Force

    The Joker = Immovable Object

-In reality, both does not exist. Hypothetically speaking though, If there is such a force present, only one of them should exist!! In layman's term, someone should die or one of them should not exist. But the contradicting part about this scenario is that they (Batman and Joker) both exist on the same plain.... So if there is, but it cannot be..... then Batman And Joker will battle forever and ever and ever and ever.....

  • @NarutoDetective Erm it's probably the case that neither of them are either, but I think that The Joker is the Unstoppable Force and Batman is the Immovable Object.

Reasoning behind this simply being that Batman has patrolled Gotham for years defending it from bad guys, no criminal force has been able to get a firm hold on Gotham since The Batman came to be. The Joker only appeared recently, and gradually built up a force behind him, taking over the city. making him the unstoppable force.

  • How anyone can prefer the 89 Joker to this one, after this scene is...well not beyond me, but I highly disagree.

Come on, this really captures The Joker and Batmans relationship, and the 89 Batman movie...did they even attempt? It was just some generic gangster who had some accident and then turned into Jack Nicholson in a purple suit and paint. He ran around the city and then Batman beats him in the same old "good vs bad" ending...

  • I love how the joker still 'wins' in the end by corrupting Harvey.

  • the joker wasactually right, this really is funny world we live in

  • Dwnlad this in awesome quality now just Search Google 'TheNewsBuzz"

  • When I was in theaters, the first time I heard him say, "You think I'd risk losing the battle for Gotham's soul in a fistfight with you?!" I literally said out loud, "You sonofabitch..."

I love how Batman was always 10 steps behind the Joker. Good guy loses, bad guy wins. Movie over.

  • Y u can Dwnlad in really great quality just Search Google for 'TheNewsBuzz" its there

  • Ledger's Joker is perhaps the greatest screen villain ever. He is perfectly deranged and certain of his purpose. This is a terrifying portrayal of pure, intelligent, rampaging madness. I cannot imagine how Christopher Nolan will top this film. And as for villains, the next installment needs a bad guy that can make the Joker seem like a harmless prankster. Somebody bigger and more dangerous yet somehow less obvious. Who can write THAT character? I can't wait to see how Nolan handles it.

  • Batman: GRAWLRWOWOROWWOWROWRORWORWORLLLLL

  • TUF vs TIO

(the unstoppable force vs the immovable object)

  • They are destined to do this forever because the Joker is an unstoppable force, and Batman is an immovable object. Endless transfer of energy. (: Thank you Asimov.

  • What is with batmans voice? it's sound dumb lol, no offence I like this but why is his voice so shit?

  • batmans voice is not like that. his voice is awsome and is perfect for him

  • well...maybe the voice device was broken when the Joker knocked Batman with the rang :))))))....ok seriously....the voice is absolutely necessary for Batman for he must not be recognized by anyone

  • @kingfiirenze thats not batman... christian bale... the real batman doesn't sound like GROWLBROWBROWRWLBOWRBRHAHRHARHAHRHRWHRWHRHWRHARHWH

  • @tsutomukun

the real batman ? what is it ?

  • Heath Ledger was amazing <3

    R.I.P

  • R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

  • Now this is acting! At it´s best. Damn, I can´t belive how great they all performed in this movie. And Ledger will be alway remembered.

Hope they can come up with a good way to continue this story

  • 1:39 click it

  • You see, madness is like gravity. All you need is a little.... push

  • damn you cristaian bale god damnit why him!!!!! why!!!!! what a terrible voice!!!!!!!!

  • Chris Crocker sucks....

    ....COCK :D

  • We all suck.

  • You suck.

  • I suck...

  • @ediotsavant

Hey, this suckage is going to someone worthy of the suckage, Which you are not.

  • When he goes "you and I are destined to do this forever", my heart just sunk when I saw/heard it.

  • 3:23

    cool

  • lol being saved by the one you want to kill, the fucking irony

  • What do you ppl reckon to joka potentially being played by a different actor in the future? the charater concept is deap, should they bring it back?

  • well people kinda freaked when they heard Ledger would be filling the role and look at what happened.

I don't think they'll go back to the iconic character soon but I can't see Batman without the Joker.

  • "you and I are destined to do this forever"

    Ironic with ledger's death no?

  • yup the movie studio drugem up for his part as u cn see how he rolls his toung around n the movie thts the drugs

  • Right. Because that's totally legal.

I mean he wouldnt' just be acting like a insane person because the Joker is insane now woudl he?

Nah, much better to put a badly spelled crazy theory out there than what's probably the truth.

  • well idk maybe they did int but he decided to for a good role. idk its either that or he just decided to do drugs b4 the movie n took n overdose idk

  • I think it's more of a comment of the paradox of comic book series, how it's impossible for neither the villain or hero to win, or else the legend dies.

  • 1:41 wow reference

  • lol no... I know that you are thinking of the names of the 2handed mace and the shield but that phrace is muuuch older than wow. sorry.

  • HAHAHAHA, are you kidding me? You think that's a WoW reference? Maybe it is in WoW, but that saying has been around for a LONNNNNNNGGGGG time, buddy.

  • jokers way too smart. lol. his laugh is crazy

  • wen the joker said " i think were destined to do this forever" i though there was going to be batman 3 with the joker in it but heath died sad

  • If he didn't die, there probably would be a sequel out now judging from the popularity and success of this movie.

  • there will be a sequel anyway. I'd bet money on it.

  • when Joker was falling and laghing that was cool!

  • "i think were destined to do this forever'

    gives me chills

    what coulda been

  • in this video, three parts of it really got to me: Joker laughing while falling from the skyscraper, his great speech at the end, and the guy at 0:10 trying to activate the bomb on the other boat but couldn't do it and the music added to it made that part great

  • this joker is the greatest right ?

  • i know right ?

  • yeah and only a lunatic like the Joker would laugh while falling several feet from a skyscraper! he's not like Jack's Joker where he just screamed when he fell

  • lol laughing all the way to hell

  • When an Unstoppable Force meets an Immovable Object has got to be a world of warcraft reference :P also pro movie

  • It's a reference to an old paradox. Blizzard referenced it in WoW.

  • not at all kid

  • Joker's 1st segment of dialogue is probably my favorite line from the Dark Knight.

''This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.I think you and I are destined to do this forever''

    Class!

  • Brilliant scene. The way the joker is shown hanging with his head down, but actualy you see him straight and the world is upsidedown when he says his line.

  • Good observation

  • Tahts was freaking awesome!!
