I hope no one kills me for this but I never really liked Heather. She looks great though! And yes she looks natural and realistic, I think she`s damn pretty! FRECKELS <3 I have freckels :P

(I think most of the SH characters looks pretty realistic actually)

But there was something about her, she semed a little too...emo?

And there was something about her voice that annoyed the heck out of me.

I loved her attitude soemtimes however.

She`s not emo...I just thought she acted a little bit like one. If you make her look in a mirror she says something along the line of "I dont like mirrors" which could mean she thinks of herself as ugly o.O (how on earth can she think that anyway? She`s damn beautiful!)

@DevonLoup I'm not out to kill you. She's neither my at the top nor bottom of my favourites list. Probably in the upper half, but... Anyway. Her voice was sometimes annoying, but so are almost any of them at different points, so I didn't fault her for that. She was very interesting to me, from a psychoanalytic point of view.

I don't think she was particularly emo, given the circumstances. I mean, her father was just murdered and she's supposed to birth a demon baby. If that doesn't get ya down..

...I'm not sure what would. But even if that hadn't happened, she's a teenager, it's her birthday, and it was a crappy celebration. I didn't see balloons or cake or presents or friends. Not even a disco ball... Even without the freaky Silent Hill junk, I know that would make me act a little emo. (Yeah, I'm Borderline, but I think people with normal emotional responses would do the same. ;P ) That's probably why I cut Heather so much slack. That, and she's sassy, as you already pointed out. :)

I'm in constant awe of Heather's design not just because of the amazing realism, but by how really American she seems. I just spent a few weeks in Japan, and there are so many different, subtle mannerisms that are captured so perfectly... Better than most American games are able to do.

Granted, most of Team Silent are very well acquainted with the US, but still.

Amazing song. I played on Extreme for PS2 and now i have it for Stepmania for PC. Sadly, on Extreme there is a more codensed, alternate version of the video that includes her going into a church. I have to say that this video is by far better than the condensed version. thanks for putting this up.

@manabluerose Someone else notices the amazing attentiuon to detail with Silent Hill! I have to agree, they really worked hard to make her seem real. The freckles were excellent in my opinion. I love those that notice how her skin is "flawed", because, perfection, isn't natural, it doesn't really exist! The beauty of imperfections is what makes Heather, Heather!

It took me a couple of years after playing a few silent hills when they actually started coming out to get what the story was. After having people explain to me what was happening, it never occured to me that somehow they were all related because of the cult (Duh! it was the biggest piece to the puzzle.). Saddest part that comes to mind is the Nurse, Lisa. :(
