  • It's Beverly on the first two lines of the verse, the rest is Bunny. Bob is not on the recording, he was still in the US

  • bob, bunny, peter, rita with beverly kelso & junior braithwaite

  • great

  • Yes mon, it is Bunny Wailer, no doubt! :) Blessed Love! <3

  • @TheJahlove2 --Definitely Marley--compare this song to the first CD in the Tuff Gong Box Set. It sounds like when they first come, interchanging, varying, and blending their voices. Check it out-- be well

  • I think it is Sting.

  • Somebody could me say where can I find the letter of this song.

  • bob marley isn't the lead on this song, its either Bunny or maybe even Junior

  • does anyone know why they only took the chorus and not the verses of the dylan original? i assume they weren't able to get a nice, slow groove with dylan's verbose and cynical lyrics. this was a nice little find. thanks bambis17.

  • Hell of a cover.

  • definitely bunny on lead vocals

  • yeah... i have all his songs.... or whatever he "features" in.

and this song is definitely not in there. but i love that song if the wailers didnt play it.

  • the one guy who disliked this video is such a douche

  • yeah Bunny has this beautiful high voice

  • It is Bob on vocals 100%!

  • it is bob on vocals 100%

  • i wish people would stop mislabeling this music, its The Wailers, calling it Bob Marley and the Wailers is inaccurate, it wasn't called that till Tosh and Bunny left

  • Opening singer is Beverly Kelso, then Bunny Bunny Wailer takes over the lead singing with Peter Tosh and Beverly on backing vocals. Kelso was the only female original Wailer. Bob Marley does not feature on this track.

  • 1:24 Obama plays guitar?

  • Im gonnna write to all i know, with out no pro, im pro killing shadan, that's my 2 pro, yes i wear 2 since once a upon that's why 2pak, one man knows its him, its YOU, WHY? FATE CAN'T ESCAPE

  • class!!!nothing else needs to be said!!!

  • Definetly Bunny on lead and Peter on back vocal and Bob repeating on chorus, in fact Bunny starts with falseto before and then switch to his real voice after but he is leading aaaaaall de way man.

  • MY DAD :(

  • good memories when i hear this song(:

    (*sigh*)

  • bob doesn't sing on this track it is junior braithwaite and the wailers bob was in the us for a while he also sings lead on it hurts to be alone it is bunny and junior

  • Dont forget Jr

  • Bunny Wailer sings the lead, first in falsetto, then in his normal singing voice. Bob leads the chorus with tosh in the background.

  • In 1966, Marley married Rita Anderson, and moved near his mother's residence in Wilmington, Delaware in the United States for a short time, during which he worked as a DuPont lab assistant and on the assembly line at a Chrysler plant

  • this was recorded in 66. same year we won the word cup, wayyyy

  • only bob marley could take a bob dylon song and cover it without ruining it. made it his own version changed lyrics and ska beat. amazing

  • Well, Hendrix did a pretty good job too :-)

  • @stanleygcollins Yeah, that's an understatement huh? With All Along the Watchtower as well.

  • @stanleygcollins yep he did

  • Bunny is singing leads as well. I think All three do a lead part from what I can hear.

  • err Marley was in Florida throughout most of "66

  • There is nothing better than the start-up of a group in its early days. The youthful, raw talent and energy is so captivating; the musical experimenting thrilling, and the great leaps forward compelling. Here are such beautiful harmonies laid down in the most relaxed manner, with most artists not aware at the time that they were creating little jewels.

  • This is bob singing during his early days. I recognise his voice right away just like in other tunes like 'simmer down', judge not and one cup of coffee. I have his early recordings rare stuff i bought in Ingland. The backup vocals are Bunny Livingstone and Peter Tosh..Not sure about the lady tho'...Seen?

  • bob WAS in the wailers... and after they broke up, the wailers became bobs backup band...hence, bob marley and the wailers

  • tenía que ser bob marley... único e insuperable

  • im pretty sure bob does background, bob is in this song, if he isnt singing than hes playing an instrument. still this is the wailers and not bob marley and the wailers, if you are talking about that.

  • well, bob was in the wailers

  • It's awesome

  • this jam is mellow, i like it

  • Tis the Wailers, Bunny at the helm.

  • I'm fairly certain this isn't the Wailers.

  • forevre bob

  • Bob had the high voice Peter had the low voice and Bunny was in the middle. There voices made perfect harmony.

  • bunny had the high voice, Bob had a more middle voice, but he also has range

  • bob je t'aime t tro boooo t parfait

  • I can't say enough about Bob Marley...and this video is one of the best i have ever seen..thank you

  • Def. Bunny by the by

  • classic ska/Rocksteady at its best

Nothing beats the classic Wailing Wailers.

If Im not mistaken its Bunny Wailer singing lead?

  • Yes I guess it is Bunny, It doesn't really sound like bob and defenetly not Peter Tosh.

  • @bambis17 both bob and bunny sing lead vocals.. ;)
