@12jmcgee Dude Rock and Roll has been so pussified where just begging for another rock and band to come in the scene and chuck TV set's out of Hotel Window
@12jmcgee Rock & roll fans, for the most part, weren't/aren't ignorant enough to "believe the hype" when it comes to what bands sing about. They know the difference between a song & a real life. Rap/hip hop fans? Well, the numbers seem to speak loudly enough for themselves, do they not? You'll surely disagree. You'll tell me how suburban white kids buy more rap than blacks do. So what causes a growing record of black youth to be incarcerated/murdered? A musical issue, or a racial one. You mad?
This interview has just achieved nothing, I agree with what Camron was trying to say at the start about how his music influences people about as much as any music and other forms of entertainment, films etc. But then he goes on to show he has his own stupid grievences and blames Marilyn Manson for the columbine killings. Bill O'Rielly failed to stop rap, rappers failed to take part in a conversation without making themselves look a bit stupid. Even the high principle said "conversating". Hmm.
O'reilly is always trying to play black rappers. always trying to assume shit and make they lives look hella bad or like they stupid and he knows it all. he aint shit
it for the money. Polluting young kids minds willingly for money is criminal and unethetical. But that's how corporations are. Als no parent should expose their kids to this music under the age of 12-16. And artists should never make music only for money but also feel the need to say something uplifting or right to their listeners.
With anything the first responsibility begins with the producers of the material. Not only the drug producers are at fault, also the government who pushes drugs into the ghetto/streets, the dealer and the buyer. With music, the label, the musicians, parents and buyer/listener all have responsibility. But since artists make music (if they are real artists) to express their artistic needs you can't really blame them. The parents should know better, as well as the label. Since the label is only in
your black guys...so to bill no matter what you say or do...positive or negative, in his eyes its wrong and he is right...why? cuz he is bill o'reilly a white man and your not.
Every single kid above the age of 12 knows right from wrong. If they are misguided and they don't have a parent of a guardian to let them know what is the right thing to do, how is it Cam'ron's fault? He is simply portraying the lifestyle that he has, and making it entertaining for people. Doesnt it say on any CD with vulgarity "Parent advisory eplicit content"? yes. Therefor, they are warning parents that the CD isnt alright for children. O'reilly wanted an argument, not a discussion.
Even though cam'ron is kind of a idiot for saying that the columbine kids listen to MM and he seems to not be able to not interrupt people like any dumb nigga would i have dealt with this. But O'reilly is just is bad. But sides cut off just as bad i guess education doesn't help with manners
bill o'reilly invites people onto his show to interrupt them and shuts them down when they start making a valid argument that contradicts his beliefs. piece of shit

There wasn't going to be a right and wrong in this show... I couldn't agree and disagree with a lot of both sides! The side anyone takes is the side they agreed before the show started
@ndc18 hes been shot, near death - hes got a mouth. Ever since his younger days with Children of the Corn with Big L...hes a good rapper and a legend but he doesnt give a shit about anyone other than himself - just look at him represent himself in this video - he doesnt give a rats ass about anyone else. Plenty of great rap song and artists have used clean lyrics and had success
@ndc18 FYI also - he has posterized himself by accepting this interview - he didnt have to talk to O'Reilly. O'Reilly is a douche bag in his own right. Cam'ron has posterized himself by taking the blow here for the bad image on kids that rap has. Its certainly not all Cam'ron's fault and thats how this video has and can come across to people that watch it.
After the BOTTSRGEDDON society will no longer blame entertainers for pointing out our shortcomings. Violence and misogyny was being glamorized long before rap music became mainstream.
The point they made about Cam'ron being an entrepreneur is true. But I wanna add a lil bit:
The kids who'll be imitating the whole "hood" lifestyle thing that O'Reilly posits is not the kids in the Ghetto; they know the reality of what he's talking about. The kids who WILL imitate the lyrics are kids in suburbia, whether white, black, hispanic, asian. They don't know the realities and the worst they could do is be a douchebag.
@NegraLi34 "You mad" If someone is a fully grown adult, grew up speaking English, and still can't speak it properly then they deserve to be disrespected. It's not hard to and "are" or even "You're" to that. But the uneducated moron he is (along with the morons who listen to his 'music') doesn't know how to speak his native language, nor does he even try to do it correctly. If someone is that stupid, yeah, they can, should, and will become disrespected.
@ndc18 Not at all. I don't care if he's white, chinese, black, purple, whatever. I just think he's a moron, and he demonstrates that pretty much every time he opens his mouth.

Idiots giving other black rappers a bad name, those fuckers are as think as shit. acting like little kids and making sure they speak over others so they don't need to listen, if there was ever a drive by victim that deserved it, it's these two dipshits.
Those that say Gangsta rap is not negative and does not have an adverse effect on youth or people that listen to it in general are in denial. As a teacher teaching at an at risk school, I see first hand the crippling affects this genre of music has on young people, the negative mentality that it perpetuates. Everyone will have to give account for what they're putting out when this life is over. Gangsta rap is one of the worse things that has happened to the black community.
easy as this, rap artist are not held responsible for kids actions especially since their music is not meant for under aged kids. blame the parents and if they dont have parents its still no reason to blame rap artists; thats like blaming the inventor of a fire arm for a murder that a fucking under aged kid committed
As musch as I dislike Bill, I have to say that Camron's stance is weak as hell. It's common knowledge that kids listen to music and those whom they idolise more than their parents and that's no parent's fault, especially during teenage.
anyone notice how uncharacteristically calm bill is check out his other shows he would cut people off like a tumor but because he got niggas on his show who he kno dont play dat shit he just mellow out.
What bill O'reilly doesnt get is that he has a much more negative impact og kids (and uneducated adults) than camron. lol, all hes christian bs and conservative bs
He's In it for the cash & notoriety. He doesn't give a toss about the poor kids searching for an identity, and end up latching onto cretins like him as their role model. You want money, cars, bitches kids? No education? no problem! This music is pure materialism and he's the only one benefiting from it. "What goes on my album is what goes down on the streets." Well you're just perpetuating the problem aren't you, Mr Cam'Ron? You massive tw@.
If he raps about positive stuff it wont sell. Just like nice cute video games dont sell. Shows like the jersey shore have a worse affect on the youth. At the end of the day it's on the parents, If you do not monitor your child then your a bad parent !
I personally think that Dash is way smarter than O'Reilly. He's more open minded and understands both points of view on Hip-Hop. The real problem IS the that stuck up corporate people like Bill himself are the ones who promote these videos of "pimpin' bitches" on TV because it gets them better ratings.
I'm really happy about the way of which these artists handled this guy. Bill makes me think of all these talk show hosts who invite guests on their shows simply to say that they are "wrong" and to create drama because they are vulnerable. But that one guy provided great, knowledgeable points.
How the fuck is Cam'ron supposed to be responsible for what every god damn kid does? & why was he playing a Ludacris video to somehow prove his point? If he takes issue with something Cam'ron has published, use that. But don't have the guy on their to represent the entirety of hiphop because he's black and a rapper.
@katinkers I thought the same thing. Parents need to watch their kids! I grew up with gangsta rap and I haven't killed nobody, slingin rock, pimped some. Without the music or not kids who fuck shit up always will. Stop hatin the gangstas O'rielly!
Bill needs to shut that shit lmao naw naw let me stop i never seen any of his shows and i heard about him getin paid just to piss others off but whats with him? no offence to any sides of the politics or any type of party i honestly cant back myself up on this comment but listenin to him is makin me laugh cause bill getin pissed badly lmao "you mad bro?"
The principle obviously won the debate. They were discussing profanity, clothing, etc. and cam'ron and dash brought up entrepreneurship and business, without answering the question.
@rjkahlon Wasn't a fair question. At all. To conservative whites, cam'ron is profane. Bill even aluded to the way he dressed as being inappropriate. But how is cam'ron supposed to be responsible for what other people think, and more importantly, how is he supposed to be responsible for what kids do?
boll is a asshole he thinks dame is more intelligent so he want let him speak and thinks cam will make himself look like a fool so he lets him talk classic white boy shit
One of the things they talk about is "what about if an unsupervised kid listens to you! you need to be a better role model to them!" Ok let me ask a question, why the fuck are we more concerned about the music these "unsupervised" kids listen to rather than trying to GET them some supervision???
Rap music is not my favorite genre, but i think that art does not have any effect on whether kids are going to commit crimes or not.
as cam'ron said, the columbine murderers were fans of heavy metal, many young criminals listen to hip-hop, simply because many young people prefer that kind of music, not because rap causes criminal activity.
@Thedryback No. It's the diamond shaped Roc-A-Fella Records hand signal that all artists and affiliates signed to that label do to represent their record company.
the funny thing is its the media who allows this music when theres some real underground rappers out there that send positive messages. also he only uses the bad lyrics camron has and not the good ones. fuck bill oreilly
@SL4VE0WNER1904619 hell yea, why doesn't he invite Immortal technique to his show ? because he would be washed out quick, bill would actually need to take extra hours of loud yelling and anti-debating lessons to stand a chance
or bust a CNN and cut him off due to technical difficulties
@SL4VE0WNER1904619 The reason those positive rappers are "underground" is because kids have always wanted to hear music that is new, edgy and controversial especially with the advent of music sharing on the internet. It's been like this through time. Rock and Roll, Punk, Metal, Rap and even Emo, talking about slitting wrists n shit.
@FJxJongno3ga not really when i was a kid i didn't even know what i was listening too i would always sing it wasn't me by shaggy and now that i know what the song means i was like wtf no wonder i got weird looks.
Say what you want sure, but now that you got their attention say what they need to hear. Your art is stronger than your money. Art can teach societies to help themselves. Money only teaches them to be dependent.
"Foolishness indicates false wisdom in the mind. Incited by such empty wisdom, a fool’s actions inspire useless disputes......." In other words, O'Reilly, don't argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.

But that one guy provided great, knowledgeable points.

fuck everbody, camron is the real thoroughbred and fuck abody who says other than that, killas my nicca lol, "you mad, you mad!!!!!" lmfao
ismailuchiha 4 weeks ago
How the fuck is Cam'ron supposed to be responsible for what every god damn kid does? & why was he playing a Ludacris video to somehow prove his point? If he takes issue with something Cam'ron has published, use that. But don't have the guy on their to represent the entirety of hiphop because he's black and a rapper.
katinkers 4 weeks ago 14
@katinkers I thought the same thing. Parents need to watch their kids! I grew up with gangsta rap and I haven't killed nobody, slingin rock, pimped some. Without the music or not kids who fuck shit up always will. Stop hatin the gangstas O'rielly!

The principle obviously won the debate. They were discussing profanity, clothing, etc. and cam'ron and dash brought up entrepreneurship and business, without answering the question.
rjkahlon 1 month ago
@rjkahlon Wasn't a fair question. At all. To conservative whites, cam'ron is profane. Bill even aluded to the way he dressed as being inappropriate. But how is cam'ron supposed to be responsible for what other people think, and more importantly, how is he supposed to be responsible for what kids do?

One of the things they talk about is "what about if an unsupervised kid listens to you! you need to be a better role model to them!" Ok let me ask a question, why the fuck are we more concerned about the music these "unsupervised" kids listen to rather than trying to GET them some supervision???

Rap music is not my favorite genre, but i think that art does not have any effect on whether kids are going to commit crimes or not.
as cam'ron said, the columbine murderers were fans of heavy metal, many young criminals listen to hip-hop, simply because many young people prefer that kind of music, not because rap causes criminal activity.

the funny thing is its the media who allows this music when theres some real underground rappers out there that send positive messages. also he only uses the bad lyrics camron has and not the good ones. fuck bill oreilly
SL4VE0WNER1904619 1 month ago 7
@SL4VE0WNER1904619 hell yea, why doesn't he invite Immortal technique to his show ? because he would be washed out quick, bill would actually need to take extra hours of loud yelling and anti-debating lessons to stand a chance
or bust a CNN and cut him off due to technical difficulties
SoldierCyfix 3 weeks ago
@SL4VE0WNER1904619 The reason those positive rappers are "underground" is because kids have always wanted to hear music that is new, edgy and controversial especially with the advent of music sharing on the internet. It's been like this through time. Rock and Roll, Punk, Metal, Rap and even Emo, talking about slitting wrists n shit.
FJxJongno3ga 3 weeks ago
@FJxJongno3ga not really when i was a kid i didn't even know what i was listening too i would always sing it wasn't me by shaggy and now that i know what the song means i was like wtf no wonder i got weird looks.
SL4VE0WNER1904619 3 weeks ago
Say what you want sure, but now that you got their attention say what they need to hear. Your art is stronger than your money. Art can teach societies to help themselves. Money only teaches them to be dependent.
