3) Jessie J can sing and other chart topping artists can too, but how many songs actually come from there creativity and not someone elses?? For example, "Price Tag", big hit in the charts, Written by Lukasz Gottwald, Claude Kelly, Jessica Cornish & Bobby Simmons. So she has 3 people to help her write a song??? Yet she gets all the credit and people think shes amazing. In all honesty, personally I think the songs garbage lol Along with "Do it like a dude" WTF!!!

2) I think its ridiculous how artist's like One Direction get a huge fan base and following through record sales due to looks and marketing. Talent wise they are nothing in comparison!! Lock them in a room with nothing but a pen and pad for a few days and they will come out with nothing!! Like DMX said "Music falls on death ears". Music is dying and its the truth, and the public are the ones that are killing it. How can upcoming artists with real talent compete with "fake" artists??

1) Personally, I believe that artist's talent in general is something completely overlooked in the world today. Artist's such as Jessie J, Lady Gaga etc. have a huge force of people and companies behind them to ensure they get all those record sales and so on. But for a artist like Wretch 32 to come from performing on streets with raw lyrical and creative talent to get to where he is now, is something that should be recognized.

I'm gonna be the devil's advocate and say, it's all about album sales. Wretch 32 didn't sell as much as any of those other artists in that category apart from Green, so a better argument would've been Tinie Tempah, a platinum selling artist, described as a phenomenon (not in my opinion) in fact there are a hundred other artists that could've replaced Proffesor Green in the nominations. All in all, go for a Grammy, forget the Brits, and enjoy music because 2011 was an incredible year.
