@MDderDoktor It would be tough to do because the infantry is not line formation and there are planes, tanks, etc... but if they made it more about where you chose to make fortifications and how to deploy your troops i think it would work, it would just be quite different than all other total war games. I wish there was a really good ww2 rts where I could take command of an entire nation not just a company or squad though.

I have to warn everyone, DO NOT LET MARATHA get to large! They will screw you over in the end thats what happened in my french campain! From the begining you should give money and tech to everyone on the front with Maratha to hold them back while you conqour your way to fight them.

@RDHZAL yes, you could play empire total war on your computer.. not on max settings, but it should run decent. make sure you update it if you dont have steam, because ive heard the original release of the game runs worse than the updated verson.

God i wish i could play this game but my pc is like 6 years old!!! I wish game developers would make shitty graphics as an alternative so even old PCs could play them, they would get more sales. I have medieval 1 and I suck at battles only because i have no actual control of my units, my plans are unstoppable but i can never carry them out.

Also after watching this video the AI seems sorta bad, i mean did they really just stand there in the middle?

The Maratha Confederacy is to powerfull. No mather what happens ou can count on them becoming the major superpower and eventually sweeping into Europe and other continents. There is no balance in comparison to other nations.

@markash1971 Its not cheating,Any military tactician or strategist would attack when the enemies weak,It reduces the amount of casualites you could take and give a decisive advantage over the enemy

@WRH90059 true, but its a much better game play to let the enemy get in formation. thats when your skill and tactics are tested to the max. on rome total war battle, i can beat an enemy army with the same strength while only suffering minor casualites? i will be getting a super pc soon so ill be kicking ass on this game. ill give you a match and wipe the floor with you everytime if you use that kind a strategy. if its ok, ill add to to my friends list and give you a match when i get my pc :)

@markash1971 Why let them get into formation,the AI take about 5 mins to do it,then in a matter of 10 seconds every regiment and cavalry squadren is all over the place again lol.Im a pretty decent player at RTW ;) thats what my youtube page is all about =) Im a pretty decent military tactician with modern and ancient tactics ;)

@TheNascarcodfan You could try lowering taxes, increasing the amount of units in the rebellious regions, exempting rebellious regions from tax and if there is a religious difference sending in priests or building religious buildings. You could also build some happiness buildings in your towns. Helpful?
