Oh, and if they went through all of this trouble to suicide gank it, you can be sure there was quite a bit of isk in his cargo hold.

There is no longer insurance for Suiciders in protected space now.

Even so... it was never a lucrative activity.

I have only witnessed one profitable BS(30 billion worth) suicide gank and the ship in question was crippled(no resists).

Otherwise, in Apocrypha, it would take extremely good planning and a great number of ships to achieve anything worth mentioning in high sec now.

At most, suicide ganks, are limited to paper thin mining ships and other weak crafts.
