I love how when Claire said she wanted to go to the bathroom...then she falls on the floor, she said she will just lay there.... I guess she forgot that she wanted to go to the bathroom.
well, maybe it's just me but, why would Cliff come home in the middle of the night and act like Claire isn't supposed to be eating Mexican food. Then Claire says, "I have self control". There would be no reason for her to be all defensive because Cliff is supposed to not know that she is trying to lose weight. Unless, she knew he already knew that she was trying to lose weight, but I know he wasn't supposed to know.
@neetrab at the beginning of the episode Cliff was eavesdropping through the door when Claire was talking about having to lose 5lbs to fit in the dress, that's how he knew (:

He's not supposed to know that she's trying to lose weight (even though he DOES know). In other words.. he knows she needs to lose weight because yes he was eavesdropping, but he's supposed to make it seem like he's clueless that she's trying to lose the weight...(even though he's trying to tempt her in eating mexican food). I know it's comedy and all, but this episode is sad. Claire displays disordered eating, her trainer insults her and spreads anorexic messages to her students, and she is really mean to Cliff. The only consequence is she unhealthily fits into her dress and doesn't face the serious reprecussions of acting this way and sending her children a bad message. I guess I naturally read too much into this, though, as someone into psychology and who has gone through an eating disorder. thanks for the upload

i wouldne ask, i wouldnt want to know, i wouldnt guess i wouldnt wait. i would silently pack my belongings and there then in the early moring i would just walk out the door, hail a taxi an live with my grandparents.
