To all us British viewers did you see how much they are paying in America for the focus titanium just over £10,000 and we have fucking pay £20,000 BASTARDS!!
@rugbydazz A SE Fuel Saver model is msrp 22k, we talked the dealer down a grand and threw in 5 tinted windows, our state doesnt allow tint on windshield. It was 21k USD. Titanium is way more and I hate leather seats and the chrome strips are not all the way around the windows.
@cuddles6938 I guess it's all relative, I just worked out how much that is and it's around 15k but if you live and work in the US £15K don't mean nothing at the end of the day you still had to pay $21K, how are you getting along with it have you taken delivery yet? if so are you liking it?
@rugbydazz The MPG of course isnt like the EPA says, you can read real world MPG results on Edmunds site. Its nice, seats are best I ever sat in inside a car. After my 02 Civics computer died twice on me, once almost killing me on the freeway losing power and nearly hit by a Semi, second turning right at 10mph, this car is way nicer.
@rugbydazz If I had electric seats I would have had to pay more money, those are extra features, haha.. I may live in America, but I wasnt born here, if it matters.
@stoneman127 Ouch. Is it the mechanicals of Toyotas you break or the interior bits? If it is the interior bits then you are not trying very hard to break them.
@meilleurdesdeuxmonde seriously it's 20k plus here in the UK and at $16999 in the US that works out at just over £10,000 they are paying in the US, I think it has alot to do with the fact the Focus is the UK best selling car and has been for some time, I doubt it will ever have that acclaim in the US therefore they have to price it really competitively for a hope of it running against it's Honda/Toyota rvals in teh US, and we pay more for everything here in the UK along with being taxed to death
@1bentley4ever Elantra also uses a torsion beam rear suspension hence cheaper price but some would say not as good to drive on the road. I read to many negatives about Elantra when it first came out, interior sounded like a tin can and to much noise in cabin, so I got the 2012 Focus SE sedan.
That's an impressive compact, from the Engine to the Multi Clutch Auto, first ever for a compact, the Interior and Cabin Tech are equally as sharp. The Exterior is Fine Looking also, not to mention Gas Pump performance is terrific. I've never seen a compact more appealing than this one.
Sweet Car, I'm getting the SE model, cuz that's the only one with a stick...that comes with nice interior features. The titanium, is only automatic with paddle shifters. I'm not into paddle shifters!
Not in the US. There you can only pick the top level Titanium with a dual clutch automatic. But I´m pretty sure in Europe you can pick a Focus Titanium with a manual transmission
@bwright009 Back seat room is decent and well padded, but a bit tight if the people in the front seats are tall. Headroom is good, but I am 5 foot 7 inches so I am not the template for tall passenger comfort.
@RandomFilmings base model starts about 16 grand the titanium starts out at about 23 but is loaded with all kinds of toys, nice car from base to top either way
I think it was more like 20 grand or so with those options, but 17 grand I think is the starting price for the base model S Sedan. They look a LOT better than the old ones!

Just a suggestion ... we really don't need to see your hands and fingers touching everything. It distracts from the video.

that's the same rear visor mirror as on my Jaguar, and the cover plate will break off lol

I don't see nothing attractive in this car. Although is better than the previous version. I would get a Veloster or Optima over this any day.

Hyundai Veloster would rape this car.
Johndoe9278 9 months ago
@Johndoe9278 Veloster is definitely a nice car. But a different kinda car. The Elantra competes with this Focus and undercuts it by a couple grand.

@jpolimus I agree with you. It EASILY is the most solidly built car in its class. Nothing feels flimsy in the cabin.

@1vdn992 I agree with its appeal. It is very well put together too! Feels more solid than a Hyundai Elantra, but the Elantra is good too.

Not really, the titanium can be manuel too. Its not only automatic ^^ you can decide what is should be.
FORD actually did a good job on this car. It has a lot of good stuff for a M sized car.
