Sorry, but you are wrong. Newton was known to not only sell drugs, but he was also a drug abuser as well, and his addiction worsened after the demise of the old Black Panther Party.
He was killed in 1989 by an angry drug dealer whom he had burned in a drug deal.
at the time of his death, newton was no longer an active member of the panthers. so the point you made about him being a drug abuser is completely irrelevent to what was excepted of an active Panther. quote "While Huey was imprisoned, his party's membership had declined significantly in several cities." It was hueys imprisonment that played a huge role in the demise of the Panther Party. that is what i have gathered from what i have read.
On August 22, 1989, Newton was shot in the Acorn Projects neighborhood in Oakland by 24-year-old Tyrone Robinson Official accounts claimed that the killer was a known drug dealer in Oakland

Newton was an intergrationist not a segregationist. He wanted equality inside of america. Marcus Garvey was more with african descented people going back to africa were they could have a real shot at equality without it taking over 400 yrs.& 40+ presidents that didn't physically look like them. I am from India and I want to say that Black Panthers were always an Inspiration for the oppressed people here.During 1970 a party known as Dalit Panthers was formed .They gained their inspiration from Black Panthers and had a 10 point program similar to Black Panthers.There main motive was liberation of Dalit community and total destruction of capitalism.India state came heavily on them and this party was suppressed.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Newton was known to not only sell drugs, but he was also a drug abuser as well, and his addiction worsened after the demise of the old Black Panther Party.
He was killed in 1989 by an angry drug dealer whom he had burned in a drug deal.

at the time of his death, newton was no longer an active member of the panthers. so the point you made about him being a drug abuser is completely irrelevent to what was excepted of an active Panther. quote "While Huey was imprisoned, his party's membership had declined significantly in several cities." It was hueys imprisonment that played a huge role in the demise of the Panther Party. that is what i have gathered from what i have read.
