@acenace24 Well, in Series 3&4, it was about 80kg (some were slightly more), but walkers can be double weight, from series 5 onward the weight limit was 100kg (200kg for walkers)
@hiddenbutdeadly Killertron, really? imo they had about the only axe/pick weapon in the entire first three series which was any good. Let's be honest, axes just aren't very good weapons in general.
@hiddenbutdeadly Dominator 2 I'll give you, although I disagree with Mortis. Its axe never seemed to live up to expectations imo. The thing about axes is they're great for doing superficial damage, but don't really do much to immobilise the opponent most of the time. However the one thing axes are great for is stopping horizontal spinners.
@shellysabin123 As a house robot Shunt gets to break the robot construction rules, though. Plus... I'm not sure Shunt would actually be tier one as a full-time competitor. Too easily flipped, innards too open and exposed. Frenzy's axe was well designed, retaining enough power over its length to hit components at the bottom of the machine, but I still wouldn't call it an all time classic weapon or anything. Not familiar with Tut Tut, sorry.
BTW... your username... MCMG fan by any chance? :D
0:33 well done einstein for stating that walkers can be twice as heavy lol =P being serious though couldn't x-terminator get a better axe than that? the one from series 3 was better than that
@A9132robotwars very true, will admit that didn't occur to me when i wrote that comment, the axe wasn't all that powerful nevertheless though. the spixed axe in series 3 was good however, it could grip machines and sometimes lift them, should've done the same here instead of making the axe more bladed
I'm yet to see a walker that looks as if it can threaten to challenge the top seeds.

@DanielLuck7 Check out Anarchy in series 6, it took Tornado to a close judges decision in the heat final of S6.
Also if it counts check out Son Of Whyachi from Battlebots.

X-Terminator 2's axe looks too blunt. How did they hope to stab anything with it?

It looked like Firestorm's left wheel was jammed for a lot of that.

Firestorm wasn't too good in this series. It's not surprising they didn't do too well in the pinball.

@zoziosawakening
they ARE good weapon but the axe needs to be razor (no pun intended) sharp and tough to peirce the armour
good examples are mortis and dominater

@willmott2k10 I think it had the same power behind it. It's just that armourment was a bit better this series.

CO2 powered axe? Sounds powerful and unusual. Not many axes powered by CO2 I don't think.
