  • Thank you Drew Noah! You rock man!

  • What Camera yre you using to Film this segment? Obviously way more expensive than the Canon XH-A1 camera depicted I suppose?

  • what is the best video camera for filming skateboarding or BMX

  • how expensive is that camera?

  • @Z3bProductions The XHA1 ranges, Ive seen it for as low as 1500 dollars!

  • @MacWarMedia DAMN its like 1 000 swedish coins

  • Thanks so much man! You're one of the few Expert Village people who actually seems to know what he/she's talking about.

  • nice info!, btw does anyone know how is this show audio recorded? what mic are they using and how the setup

  • ive been wondering y its called a shotgun mic.

  • OMG! I would give just about ANYTHING to have an XH-A1!!! they are so awesome! *drools*

  • naw, the canon's only good prosumer hd camera is the XL-H1, for the money, you might as well drool over the Panasonic AG-HVX200E, way better color, and P2 harddrive, its the way to go

  • Dude the quality you get from a P2 card will never be as good as the pure quality of tape. I own both cameras and I hardly film with the HVX200, the P2 limits shooting time to absolutley nothing, it's ridiculous, expecially the pricing of those cards, over $1000 (Australian Dollars) for an 8GB card which will give you about 16min of footage...

  • geeze australia's gay it's like $150 for a card for 3 hours of footage here in america

  • Totally incorrect - Try googling P2 8GB, they are circa $699. Then google the bit rate of full HD of a P2 camera and see how quickly you'll rip though that storage.

  • just so you know the word circa is only used in relation to time and dates.

  • @Skaster5288

Your kidding, it only has 500,000 pixels vs canon's 1600000 pixels per sensor.

Do your homework otherwise your comments will be stupid.

  • @shdwsclan2 pixels per sensor doesn't make it better in my opinion, I still like not having to deal with tape, having 60fps, and having a leica lens. I mean the video quality is debatable, but I still feel the color that the Panasonic cams get are richer and more vibrant. Plus I have worked with the h1, a1, hpx, and the hvx enough to prefer one over the other, so don't demand research when clearly you just found one plus point

  • yeh there ok i spose

  • how much better is the Rode NTG-2 than the onboard shotgun mic? can someone provide a good contrast?

  • I'm fairly new to video myself but I sure noticed the difference right away. I can't give you an actual example but it is very obvious and worth buying the Rode.

Maybe bring your camera in to the store and actually try it out or borrow one.

I find the onboard mike best for general ambient shooting when I there is no particular audio focus.

  • ntg2 is fabolous!=)

  • Thanx Your Videos Rule, Rock On.....!

  • smartass

  • "Shotgun Mike"

Sounds like a bandit of one type or another.

  • This was really interesting and thanks for all the short introductions. Great work!!

    thats cheaapp for that mic.

  • im about to buy the ntg-1.

do you like how yours works?

  • Thank you!
