  • All people are bothered with the hair when they are served with a very great performance. I personally believe that Yegveny Kissin is exceptional in Brahms. It suits he style and any performance with or of a Brahms composition will be a success.

  • This is my favorite dance out of the 21!

  • Kissin rocks :D

  • i'm addicted to press the replay button

  • breathtaking

  • what a finale!!!

  • Kissin at his best playing passionately and full of Russian pathos...Fabulous!

  • uh, I used played that, joyful piece, has this typical Brahms'esk humor... ah, all those good childhood memories... thank you... Kissin plays wonderful! A true master of the instrument

  • he makes those chords seem easy :(

  • @piano932 I don't know, I heard a lot of errors :P

I'm not depreciating his talent though, he's one of my all-time favorites! And this is an encore, so he might be tired... also, it's a great feat of not letting the errors distract him at all from his playing. I have trouble doing that.

  • @GreenEileen I bet he was tired. He did play a colossal program after all.

  • @chobeethaninov Yeah, it's almost atlethic to play the piano like that!

  • puttana eva quanti capelli

  • He also bowed towards the piano! LOL

  • @paopaomanalansan

There are people over there too, in the dark space that looks like a wall.

  • @pianorama22 Shall we assume the setting as a walled ampitheatre, that is with audience around the stage?

  • @paopaomanalansan

as far a I know it is, there are more theaters with that setting. It simple makes more good seats -> more good tickets -> more profit

    But OT:

I really like all of Brahms raphodie's, especially those played by Evgeny. He is as good as his hair crazy is :)

  • He is a great pianist and a great representative of Russian piano school

  • scientists have yet to unravel the enigma of this man's hair.

  • @michelangeli23 Haha!! Yes, but from a woman's point of view Kissin's hair has a fatal attraction - it maketh the man that he is so to speak - unique in every way! He is a genius musician so his hair has to have an enigmatic element to match the rest of him :) :) :) :)

  • amazing.

  • o.0 bravissimo ...è difficile da fare a 4 mani,figuriamoci a 2 maniiiii!

  • I like how at 1:18 his hands softly slide off the piano and then he does and incredible left hand passage and murders that bottom chord! (in a good way)

  • The section from 2:03 till 2:06 is not in my sheet music!!!!!!!!!!

    Can someone help me out?

  • @BugattiJoe either get a new score to check or Kissin added some notes to add to the piece

  • @kimattbort Yup dit it right away, I checked another Version from other publishing and they DO have the notes.

But now I can't be bothered to learn the extra notes any more :D haha

  • I like how the only two handed version of this piece on youtube is really good.

  • genius!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong But I Believe this is the 2-handed version what moszkowski Wrote.

  • @jordoliss : Brahms wrote his two-handed versions as well as the four handed versions.

  • the rithym on this one is a little different than what I'm used to, but it sounds great anyways

  • of course he didnt play the four hands version. he is a genious but still in the limit of the human race!! (sory my bad english if i wrong in any word).

  • I thought the sky was the limit.. :-)

  • no comment...just !!!!!!!!!! Waaaaaaaw!!!!!!!!

  • omg he just played a 4hand player piece

  • @grxj08d : No he did not. There are two sets of several 'books' of Hiungarian Dances. One set is two-handed and this is one of the two-handed Hungariian Dances.

  • He is the limit!

  • for some strange reason, I've gathered that this man is somewhat good at the piano....I cant understand why but this actually sounds good.... lol

  • there were certainly alot of notes

    maybe that's why?

more notes usually means they're better

  • impossible!!

  • he is a wonderful guy with great talent

  • he plays really good

  • Why indeed fuzzy man peach!

  • I am conviced this guy is god of the piano-lol

  • I really wish he would do all of them...this is so great I wish I could hear the others as well.

  • fantastic prestation! excellent

  • wonderful performance. i wish he performed more brahms.

  • My favorite Brahms Hungarian Dance. One word

    Evgeny.

  • noticce how all great piano players have thier own cool hair style

  • me too

  • I love his afro thing lol

  • @KaitanX Brahms, beethoven, bach, liszt, chopin... you have a very good point!

  • Bravo! his playing definitely lives up to his swagger. I enjoy his bowing acknowledgment of his talent.

  • Bravo!

  • jawdroppingly amazing!!!!!

  • This dude is the bees knees!

  • I have never heard this on piano before.......Sarah Chang does this best on violin.

  • It was originally written for the piano (versions for piano solo and piano duet, later orchestrations by Brahms and other composers, and finally numerous arranges).

  • most amazing thing is he plays this AFTER a very very tough concert, with chopin's preludes and Liszt's sonata!!Seem he could play for hours and still make it sound perfect!!

  • Evgeny..a lot of atmosphere comes around you..I can discern your interpretation even when I don't look you..!! Your sound is characteristic..

  • Wonderful.

  • I think, this one of the best performance of this masterpiece.

  • As i said in No.1 dance video... I like Cziffra's edition

  • What I like most about his playing of the Hungarian Dances is his variation in tempo and dynamics. Not one moment is boring or without feeling, and it surges with emotion. Very Good.

  • Yes! And I think these dances justly demand this "agogic" and mannerisms.

  • i'm learning this piece right now, and Kissin gave me an idea on how to interpret it. I love it!

  • love KISSIN!

  • niiice!

  • well....this is something

  • omg!!!!!!!!!!! so great

  • @kaperisk Must we have a hollywoodian comment? Blasphemers shall go down to Hell.
