And to the others commenting earlier, 2 strokes do not get DOUBLE the power of four strokes(not yamaha 4 strokes at least), my friend has a Ski-Doo GTX 600 and I have an RX-1 1000 and I own him in drag race and holeshot. If you want to race stock, 2 stroke is obviously faster but 4 stroke is more reliable, smoother, easier on maintenance, better for upgrading to turbo and just more enjoyable. But thats just my opinion with some facts.

I was just on the Yamaha web page and the PHAZER MOUNTAIN LITE IS 515 LBS DRY.

Last years modle was 530lbs.

Sad because Skidoo's new Summit 800 with 154" track with 154 ponies is only 430 lbs.

Skidoo's new 4 st. 600 is 490 lbs and has 130 hourse and is just a way beter sled than this Yamaha check the head to head sled comp. on the SKIDOO'S web page for your selfs.

2 stroke also requires a lot more maintenance, when it gets hot its hard to start, its really winney, And then engines blow a lot quicker, 4-strokes are a lot more reliable and may not have such a big power band but i find are a lot more fun, the sound that comes out of them is a bit deeper which i like, requires next to no maintenance and vi personaly feel a lot better on a 4-stroke then a 2-stroke.

I just bought a Phazer FX. I have to say this thing is awesome. I almost bought an F6, but the extra cost and pollution shied me away. I get 22 mpg and my brothers Crossfire7 gets 16mpg, my bud's Crossfire7 gets 12mpg. I have NO trouble keeping up until we hit an open pond. 80 mph is fast enough for me, especially since it gets there so quickly.

I much preffer 2 strokes. I ride bikes and i will never buy a 4 stroke. i duno about sleds but when a 4 stroke breaks down it costs a hell of alot more to fix, for dirtbikes anyways. On my 2 stroke bike i just did the top and bottom end for 500. On a 4 stroke, i asked, the guy said $1000+ easy. so yah it may require more maintenance but the parts are alot cheaper.
