One of our generations amazing & profound speakers. His insight is extraordinary. His depth acute. Such a powerful speaker. Like being at church but full of deep knowledge that practically transgresses into your sub conscience. Eloquent, powerful. He's so ahead of his time. We should all be thankful he's with us. I'm floored by the energy he gives off.

Many on the political Left rightly bemoan the loss of genuine democracy in our political context in this nation. Certainly the powers are loathe to consult the people in direct referenda about the timely issues of the day. But would The Left accept the result of genuine referendums if, say, a majority of the people in the nation voted directly to ban abortion? or would they cry fascism & whine to the Black Robes to overturn the majority? What then becomes of any alleged love for democracy?

@orbis2009 If you are on the right maybe you should ask yourself that same question regarding abortion. If the nation voted directly to uphold Roe v Wade would you except it; or would you run to the Supreme Court to overturn the majority? Because that is what has happened.

@00ghostcobra Yes. if in a a real national referendum the nation voted to allow abortion as is, I would have to accept it (even if under protest) & always non-violently, while continuing to seek change for the sake of everyone's future, the unborn. But it is especially Blacks & other people of color who are targeted for Planned Parenthood's program of eugenic extermination as witness their inner city clinics. Cornel West cannot ignore this. Ask Dr. alvira King (Martin Luther King's niece)

@0rbis2010 Planned Parenthood does so much more than just administer abortions and no one forces a woman to walk through their doors seeking an abortion. It is a choice, one that I hope that women would seriously mull over before deciding whether or not to proceed. But it is their right to do so and neither you or I have the right to take that choice away from them.

@00ghostcobra A choice? To kill? How "free" are people who have been subject to social engineering about this practically all their lives. Time to read Aldous Huxley's Brave New World Revisited again (not the novel, the essays) about the subtle effects of this social engineering. racist find racism everywhere, including the all white meat mcnuggets. The scripture is not racist and does not justify slavery as it was done in the old south. Lev 25 does not justify black slavery in the old south anymore than it justified africans selling their own into slavery. It is easy to educate oneself concerning these misrepresentations. Lev 25 cannot be understood without historical context. You can find these discussions easily via Google.
