@TokioDanyelleHotel It hasnt been explained in the series yet, Im not too sure about the novels however, I assumed it was something to do with their ability to absorb, and control powers, maybe the effect of a confession simoultaneous to them temporarily gaining the ability to confess, could have something to do with their spontaneous suffering and death. The Mord'Sith dont have any kind of magical bond with Rahl, except for the Agiel, which is useless without a blood relative of Rahl remaining.

What I don't understand is how in season 1 Cara confessed Mord Sith and yet in season 2 one of them was sentenced to "death by confession", where if a mord sith is confessed then they experience agony until they die. Also, since they've pretty much mastered pain, how can they experience agony? O.o

Do you mean Kahlan confessed Mord Sith? As far as I can rememeber she only did it while experiencing the Blood Rage and ordered them to kill Darken Rahl. As for confessing a Mord Sith so they die in agony, I'm not quite sure, it was never mentioned in the books and not really explained in the tv show, but in the books Kahlan could order someone confessed to drop dead and they would instantly, so I assume she would do this to confessed Mord Sith...

They did mention it in the books, i don't know which one but i remember they said that if a mord-sith was confessed, they die. I also remember thinking it wasn't possible in that episode when kahlan confessed the mord-sith, because, again, they should die. So yeah, they did mention it in the books.

As far as them feeling agony.... they still feel pain. It is just that they are so used to it it no longer bothers them, it in fact brings comfort. BUT if someone were to find an even worse pain then what theyve been subjected too; well they would still be in agony.

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I personally think Denna and Cara are gorgeous. If you mean their outfits, well they are designed to instill fear and protect the Mord-Sith in battle, they are the Lord Rahl's personal bodyguard and protectors, so they need to look tough. They couldn't really pull off Darken Rahl being Richards father in the tv series, he doesn't look old enough, so brother will do, just hope they don't change too much else...

Not sure how they're going to pull it off, Richard could pass for Rahl's brother but not his son, but Rahl would still be a lot older than he looks now. A lot of things differ from the books, Richard is a wizard in the books and the Mord-Sith all pledge allegiance to him only some of the army rebel against him. I guess they had the Mord-Sith split so they could still have some of them as Baddies and Rahl as a ghost because the real baddie is The Keeper and they couldn't really show him/it...

Not sure if they'll bring Denna back, not now they have Cara as a regular character, but if she does return she'll probably end up helping Richard...

now ive been hearing from loads of people that richard and kahlan will have a baby but the only way that could happen is if it followed the book meaning that they already love each other too much but i doubt it would happen then someone said what if kahlan was wearing that neckless that suppresses her power she would be able to love richard then but i dont really have an answer to that because its a good question if that suppresses her power she cant confess richard but that might not be right.

I don't think they'll have Richard and Kahlan hooking up anytime soon, I think they'll follow the tv formula of will they/won't they for a while yet. When they do it'll probably be a variation on the book with Richards magic allowing him to love her, plus they can Shota's necklace to stop Kahlan getting pregnant. I think they'll just use Cara to try to tempt Richard..

The first 5 or 6 are very good, but they start to go downhill a bit after that. So much more happens in the books that is only briefly touched upon in the tv series, plus Denna and Cara have a much bigger role in the books, that's why it's so great to see Cara back for Season 2, in the books she becomes Richard's and Kahlan's closest friend...
