  • I'm one of the lucky man who can say the best time to live in Baguio City ( MY BIRTHPLACE) was during the 1970s and early 1980s. Today ? Baguio is no longer the beautiful city i grow up with. Too much Commecialization and POLLUTION.... Really sad that the new generation will never see the baguio city i saw during my childhood years. LOVE BAGUIO too many memories!!!

  • @bndct518 ,NO! nagkamale ka diyan,i am a bit ambitious but i promise to go back in the Homeland and someday restore the old Baguio, Yes when the american engineers designed the baguio it was only meant to be a tourist Destination not a over commercialized, over crowded migrating grounds

  • Hi im going to baguio soon where can i get marajuana (cannabis) from is it everywhere in philipines or just some parts i heard everyone in philipines smokes it !!! where is the best place to go in baguio and also in the philipines thanks a lot !!!

  • Comment removed

  • .. No offence, but you make the us sound like a bunch of stoners. Not everyone can afford cannabis due to poverty and what-not. I don't know anyone who would waste money on cannabis when there's so much more important things to be buying such as food and daily necessities.

And to answer your question: I don't know where to get weed around there. But I'm pretty sure if you ask a gang of boys with caps and baggy shirts, they MAY be nice enough to show you where to buy it.. or not.

  • ill be home soon baguio city...........

  • astig.. pero sa totoo lang mainit na ngayon sa baguio dahil sa dami ng tao.. korean at iba pa..

  • Ay agree mainit na ngayon but........ but compare it to low land like Pangasinan, Manila, Cebu etc malamig pa rin sa Baguio

  • If i wear a presedent " i will demand the slaughtering of all muslim races woman and children because i believe they are the disease,,philppines must be free from muslims.."

  • with ur condition, cancer u say? i hope its not that too complicated bec. we dont have enough technology to cure such illness or whatever that is. • ohhh i really miss my hometown baguio city...very beautifull place

  • Hey Guys

I am a American who is wondering about the Phillipines to retire because my Social Security left me with $22,000. back payment and a monthly payment of $778.

which is homeless in 6 monthes time if I stay in U.S.A. and section 8 is a 5 year wait once I am on list. I would be homeless for 4.5 years. so I am thinking of leaving U.S. now with my disability for cancer and live theii . What is it like?

  • most understand english there.. i see/hear alot of americans retiring there in a place called Angeles city, i don't know where it is though... but yeah i think that $788 can help you live there but don't expect to be too comfortable out of that amount ... or i heard Thailand is a good place too but you need to learn how to communicate there, Philippines is more "americanized" so to speak.... ask filipinos where the American communities are

  • You will love it there! Its peacefull when your up in the mountains!

  • @TheLarbacmc I am an american an I live here... going to school. Go to the province area like Baguio... Cebu is also cheap... Don't go to Mindanao... you will die.

  • ..yan,....suma a tako......

  • god i miss baguio...

  • i miss baguio so much....

  • Galing naman nito

  • in my country, cristian are working on ground level, like cleaning the street and throwing shits from the street, i accept that they dont desrve it but its just because of their representative in local govt: they are in minorities, and their representative want to full their bellies first,, and look what kind of life they are living,, throwing shitts,, so cruel, so every one listen and must agree, respect ur minorities, and its not their fault,,, dont relate it to religion

  • hey guys, i have never been in phillipines, but one thing i want to share,, please dont belongs any thing what is wrong to religion, i know muslims there might b,, or sure be dirty and dont know how to live in a city like baguio, but first check,, every country got minorities and majoritities, respect minorities, m from pakistan, and in pakistan cristian and hindu people are in minorities, and they are doing the same thing as muslims do in baguio, but u will never find any comments against dem

  • Ayaza,,filipino muslims are different in other muslim countries..filipino muslims are the shities and demon people in our country..i am now in korea and i have my co workers from pakistan and uzbekstan..but thier muslim ways are too good and very far from ours. Our Muslims belief that killing christians are holy..circumcise must be done at his age of 20..but mostly not circumcise at all.

The place in where I was born

A place that lies Above the lands below

It is a place I call my own

And in where Good memories grew

Real friends I found On this same place

And I'll never forget that Till my dying days

Fate may drive meTo go away

  • ...i spend 4 good years in Baguio, I missed the place, my friends and classmates and teachers in SLU. i love the memories i had .., hoping to visit Baguio in the future with my family. i was there when that tragedy (19 years ago today, July 16, 1990) happened . That is why i search for Baguio. I was in Guisad that time, school was closed bcoz of the students protest (tuition fee hike). 16:21 DST in my watch.

  • I loved Baguio when i was there in April. Its such a beautiful city and I cant wait to go back again soon.

  • I'm enjoying my vacation here in BAGUIO CITY Even my budget of 10,000 php is not enough

for my expenses... But definitely I'm coming back again and again in BAGUIO....

  • i worked in baguio for 3 years. everybody hates the months of june, july and august because it always rains. but me thats my favorite period. that's when the pine trees bloom and the whole city smells like pine. makes you want to make love and sleep the whole day. i love baguio forever

I hole more Development to Baguio also in our Country.

  • Baguio is changing.. it is a step toward progression but at the price of losing Baguio's natural resource of pine trees. Siguro, at one point in the future, everyone will always say that Baguio was once called the city of Pines.
