  • I am amazed at all of this. As stated to you before, I dont like all of this technology but I have to deal with it and learn it.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow pointless facts yet so i dont know how to put it :/

  • The song makes the video a million times more interesting

  • Computers will never surpass the ability of the human brain. Just for a moment consider how many multiple functions your brain does in a few seconds. Recall Video that has been archived for decades, recall smell, hear sounds feel objects taste, smell see, hear all at the same time recalling video and audio. All runs on a potato and a glass of water. with less than 20 Watts of power!

  • @TonyPaskitti But you have to also factor in dat no human has accessed their entire brain. If you get what I'm saying?

  • oh crap, terminators are going to kill us all LOL

  • Scary.......

  • it all means that THISSSS ISSSSS SPARRTAAAA

  • amazing, but kind of scary-i totally agree with soulmate702000

  • LOL MYSPACE? noone uses myspace anymore

  • @kankouro82 lol guys south of the border..... get your facts right but computers that are smarter than humans = WERE DEAD

  • and just think, that was in 2008

  • i heard that you'll be able to download memories into a computer

  • haha

when it listed how many babies were born it did not consider how i paused the video

    take that technology!!!

  • youtube.com/watch?v=kpODDUMLIqQ

  • google Doe's Account

  • I'm only "watching" this for the song. It's awesome!!!

  • Thats scary with the computers. Calculators reduced our capacity to calculate in our heads, Tv reduced our capability for our creating images out of our own imagination, superbrain computers will reduce our capacity to think for ourselves. We will be probably already interfacing with them through chip implants then or even increasing our brain power with them. The next step is virtual realites as real as ours, or maybe we're there already which would explain the holograhic nature of reality :-O

  • @soulmate702000 that is scary but feeecccckkin trippyyy!

  • @soulmate702000 I understand how you feel. That makes me thinks that computers will take away our lives for us and there will be no need to do anything anymore.

  • whats the name of this song

  • @kotw1123 It's called "Right here Right Now" by Fatboy Slim :)

  • Exponential Growth...

  • Really breath taking!

  • ...and Cleveland Sports teams haven't won a championship in 144 cumulative years!

  • @Kellykleinman hey 2011 our year

  • A computer can't get drunk....Hic....

  • Ah, the beauty of evolution. every step of human progress comes faster than the next, until we reach the ultimate manifestation of human potential. I wonder what wll happen then.

  • awesome!!!

  • what is the title of this song?

  • Fatboy Slim - Right Here, Right Now

  • i think all you guys below, (most) need to realise, this is true, by the sounds of it ure all to young to believe but it is true, 3rd of the worlds population (6.6billion) are chineese... all these facts are true.

  • thought it was only about 1.2 billion that are chinese?

  • they have been busy.............

  • Was really cool until it ended on the ILLEGALLY note...

  • i agree

  • Dunno, but people are entitled to their opinion....insulting someone like that is so unfair.....

  • woahh did u just say tht?

  • Its still cool though

  • does anyone know where i can download the original video?

i'm not satisfied with youtube quality.. please please someone tell me!!!

  • I saw this in my marketing class once, and I found it quite interesting.

  • And calm down everyone, it was just a bad joke.

  • To bad the world is gonna end in 2012

  • gtfo newfag

  • I'm the fag? Your video favorites are a computer game... lol

  • Fail lol favorites? have to do with wat :D

  • You're seriously trying to pull that comeback off?

  • nobody knows when the world could end it could be next year or in a million and dont go all smart how everyone in the world knows how its gonna end nobody knows

  • not true the world was supposed to end in 2000 but it didnt

  • anyone can make a number, in 2012 thers an actual reason for it to happen

  • Il give you 5 bucks if it the world ends in 2012 if it dosent you give me 5 f3

  • it means that im going to eat a pop tart

  • cool music...

  • This means that:

The terminators are going to kick all our asses!!!!!!!

    lololol

  • Wow! I didn't know that.

  • when will it be possible to plug my brain directly to the net?

  • @jklmt69 2040-2050. If scientists are correct we would become "imortal"

  • @jklmt69 the amount of information on the internet would likely kill you if you did such an act.

  • the last piece of info is pretty ironic considering the song used for this was used illegally :D

  • Only if this video is generating revenue.

  • "Did you just associate Christians with "Knowledge"? That's the funniest thing I've heard all year. "

It's because you are ignorant. It was a reply to a comment - I have asked a rhetorical question.

  • Comment removed

  • So does this mean we should all kill ourselves? They aren't saying something that we don't already know. I love these people who put together these videos of fear. I know that in Canada and the States people are pretty much stupid and ignorant, so what can you do about it? If they want to listen to rap and hiphop and be trash, there is nothing you can do to change it. I do all I can to be a better person. It's nice that they are trying to make us be more conscious, people just don't care

  • LMAO... i love the end about the illegal downloading. that was a nifty thing to just throw in there. lmao

  • It means if you post a video, you need to never mention the year, because it looks out of date, just like everything else they are talking about that is out dated.

If it works, it's obsolete - Marshall McLuhan

  • it means the terminators are all gunna kick our ass

  • Awesome Video, What does it all mean ?

I heard that in the Bible it says in the end times men shall increase in knowledge, maybe that's the case.

  • It means you're a twat.

  • lmfao.

  • Increasing knowledge before the very end? It's Christians only.

  • Did you just associate Christians with "Knowledge"? That's the funniest thing I've heard all year.

  • I doubt the figures. One figure I know for sure (40 babies per minute in India) is given wrongly

  • As a Dad of three teen age Daughters, these factoids present clear & present Danger!

  • ... hehe u forget one thing... Countrys like switzerland, France... And please dont tell me that india has more "smart" kids then america has born... LAWL... And dont forget Germany, they are owner of 94% of all inventions form 1876 to 2009... China is and stays communistic... AND america STAYS world leader for a time cause they have the most connective systems... They buy weapons from switzerland and have soldiers at service who are njewish AND german / indian ppl working atn NSA...

  • Germany owns 94% of all inventions from 1876 to 2009? What the fuck are you smoking?

  • ..and Russel Peters says we're all going to be some hybrid mix of Chinese and Indian in the future - beige people, all of us. Now, if Chinese and Indians teamed up, do you think they could create one gigantic superpower and take over the entire world?

  • Esto Nos Dice que debemos MOVERNOS CON LOS TIEMPOS y MUY RÁPIDAMENTE.

This just mean: We Must MOVE WITH THE TIMES VERY VERY QUIKLY.

    GOOD LUCK FOR EVERY BODY

  • computers will never be able to do half as many calculations the human brain. your brain takes in information extremely fast

  • AI will do that in like 80 years MAYBE....

  • No ONE computer's capable currently, however, it isn't beyond the realms of possibility, given what NETWORKS of computers are capable of; not to mention the recent figures attributed to fiber optic cable connections pushing data between them. My guess is that in the future, when we've shrunk microchips down as far as they'll shrink, we'll be dependent on the internet streaming our laptop info to bigger, more powerful computers to do the computing for us. Computers will be largely internet.

  • I hope so. seems to make sense to never turn off our computers and let them do computing for other ppl when we are not using them.

  • wow

  • whats the name of the song during this video?!

  • "Right Here, Right Now" by Fatboy Slim

  • great v

    it need fast growth.

    thank u.

  • This is just another reason to be an individual, refuse to walk, talk or sleep with the sheep.

  • I think this vidio is a wake up call to all the new stuff that is being made and has already been made and whth the jobs, think about it if theres going to be somthing like a big new comany that need a smart generation (and no not a company like walmart) then school and calloge kida make sence....dont they?

  • it means that we are are all fucked up and on are way back to tha future

  • I don't think we can go "back" to something that hasn't come yet.

  • Very Informative. Cheers.

  • Has anyone seen or taken the IQ test from India? How do we know they have more honor students than us? And if Indian and China have more technology degreed people then we do, what difference does it make if, like this video says, jobs (mainly technology jobs) 6 years from now haven't even been created? And what difference does it make what other countries are doing if the people in those countries aren't free? Should we feel threatened by them? No. Their government should though.

  • The first thing you need to do to have a "high IQ" is to stop believing in that stuff! Remember the "successful stock market of the 90's?" Do you still believe in it? In fact, very high IQ people did. I don't buy the IQ idea, but I do believe in "Common Sense" therefore "smart thinking." Learning "to observe" is the key to "being smart."

  • It means they work harder.

  • AWW CUTE!where can i find more like this?^^

  • whats the name of the song?

  • Right here, right now from fatboy slim

  • yep

  • its weird i dont know what it means at the end lol

  • It means the end is fucking nigh!

  • i want that internet connection!!!!!

  • machines wil ovepower humans! but only by 2013

  • 4:01 to 4:14 is really scary! :O

  • Is it all good, bad or something in between? In exponential times our society faces even greater exponential risks. Anything can happen but a reversion to local markets is likely if things keep going the way they are. It's inevitable and getting close to the point of irreversible.... Unless technology solves everything for us

  • 4:32 i was one o dem XD

  • God Bless the USA

  • what song is this?

  • fatboy slim

  • fatboy slim right here right now

  • right here right now by fatboy slim

  • still cant put hair on a bald man though

  • haha someone's bitter! Try Propecia.

  • the worst thing is humans are being grown as Global Citizens where they only work-eat-sleep , and not care about their Country- culture -and to most of you -my sentence above will sound funny because you are a Globe citizen...

  • it sounds funny cause of the overuse of hyphens xD

  • Whoa. This really makes you open ur eyes. Its really makes you wonder what the future would be like! :\

  • robots will actually believe they are humans. they wont be lying because they dont know.

  • robots will kill us all!

  • HELP US WILL SMITH!

  • HELP US TOM CRUISE!

  • ^^lol

  • We aren't screwed. It's in our faces. We need to destroy technology. It will kill us.

  • Wow. Then go ahead and destroy that pencil since it was technologies progression that created it. Destroy modern medicine, cures, water filtration, sanitation, yeah. Maybe then we could go back to thinking demons were the cause of illness and be in the next dark ages!

  • ok go ahead but please don't detroy sewer and WC!!

  • What does it all mean?

That I was another viewer to this video and that this number of views ---- 72,741 ---- will increase.

  • haha nice one!

  • what can futher concluded from this from a personal level:

1.I am probably responsible for half of those google searches per month.

    2. China and india need to slow down on repopulating.

    3. America needs to re-focus on education.

    4. even with tons of information increasing daily, we are still insignificant

  • From watching this, one can conclude a few things:

Americans aren't the best and brightest in the world anymore

To keep up with all the new technology you need a mind like a computer

If you've never Googled anything you either live in a cave or are helplessly stuck in the past

    Times are really, really changing.

  • eerie....but true!!!

  • This is very scary because I'm not the smartest person in my classes although I'm in an trade school yeh but our world is amazing,Human are amazing and computers, robots etc are taking over our world to make it easier is nice but whats the point of humans if computers are going to take over our life? I do like technology but when it makes us even more lazier that makes it fun for abit til we need to actually do something which kinda sucks cause robots will do it lol but thats how we choose to rol

  • As a baby boomer I see the younger generation depending on electronics too much for their living, don't get me wrong, I love electronics, but it won't build a house. Learn to work with your hands, they're the two things you can depend on as long as you are healthy.Learn a trade, do carpentry, electrical and plumbing, all blue collar trades, but those blue collar trades will save your life one day because we all need tradesmen, tradesmen have built this America, learn a trade, you won't be sorry!

  • Why does it all have to be about America?

Yes, handcrafts are a valuable thing, but don't put down technology. Sure it can't (yet) build a house, but it gets you halfway there, where you can order the number of bricks, cut the pieces, do both EXACTLYand then it all just slots togheter like a Lego set. All the load testing can be done with a computer, very acuratelly at that too. I'm in my first year of a mechanical engineering study and i can already see all the benefits the technology brings.

  • Primo, don't get me wrong, the two go hand in hand, I truly appreciate and respect what electronics can do. But when electronics weren't around, people manually and mentally figured these things out, electronics has made these task much more conveinant. Also, it isn't all about America, look at the beautiful buildings that have been built all over the world before computers and their programs were invented, man depended on their brains. No offense, good luck in your career.

  • I agree completely! Until they build a robot that can come to your house and snake out your sewer (or make a request to the city to have one of the robots that inhabit the sewer to come clean out your clog) we'll need plumbers.

My son is a computer science major, and can't find a job to save his life right now. I take him with me to hang doors, build patio covers etc in hopes that he will learn to have a trade to fall back on. He says he doesn't want to do manual labor...

  • Oh, and about the supercomputers: brain does much more that play a chess game. Computers will always compute. If we're talking AI, AI will be AI only for the moment it will stand up to humans with a simple NO to an order or a request or assignment or a mission. Every other result will be just computer surprising its developers with something they didn't know they knew.

  • What does it mean? That someone has too much time to push some numbers around. All these things have one common denominator: progress. By the time you read these lines, dear John's girl will be gone. And the universe will expand slightly ... Or not slightly if you're not thinking in parsecs ... I despise the boom-doom rhetorics. Data is cool. Fake existentialist questions raped out of it? FAIL!

  • This shit is scary. I'm afraid of the future now, nothing good can come of this.

  • what are you waiting for? Get on top of the most reputable business out there. Dont be afraid of the Future... Take Control of your future so you dont get caught up in this mess.

  • this makes you think

  • about what? its all fantastic progress...

  • amazing video! kinda blows my mind to think about those super computers n such...

i never wanna die, i wanna see what happens with the world!

  • 1/8 couples met online :D haha

  • yes, there's still hope for you, haha

  • gee, thanks haha

  • Dude... i would live in the fith largest contry if myspace was a contry ;]

this video really makes you think....

  • annoying music. did u know that at this moment 2,000,000,000 people are blowing there nose with kleenex? and by the time u finish this email 45 million people will drink a high fructose corn syrup drink while considering to super size. as long as india and china have schools that push rote memorization these nations will never create or design the items we want and need.

  • Jobs that don't exist today are not jobs. Teacher, Engineer, Architect, Police, Artist, lawyer, doctor, nurse, food service - what exactly are all the new fantasy jobs.

  • Communists are going to take over the world!!

  • for all you Americans reading this...do know that international test score comparisons with other countries is "off" only because, the U.S. is the only country that mandates every child can, should and will be educated. In 99% of the other countries, it's on those who can afford it. The U.S. is amazing. In fact, certain states rank in the top 5 when compared with international testing scores. It's all good folks... don't sweat it. Keep education a focus so all of us can learn.

  • That's not true.

  • Yeah, but a really don't about all these things XD, very interesting video

  • 2049 computer says: "Brain the size of a planet and I'm parking cars ..."

  • There are three types of lies: Lies, damned lies, and statistics

  • heheh I agree

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • Well... how can you calculate the computational capacity of the brain?

  • whoa.

  • I heard about some of those things, I don't think it's scary tough.

  • yeah why is this scary? haha because it makes you wonder how big this earth is and much it is progressing? oops my bad. didnt mean u to introduce u to reality.

  • frightfully? but what about 666? huh? :X

  • LOL 694000 songs downloaded illegally in 4 mins... SORRY EVERY1

  • Damn... we are screwed.

  • I think you are right we are screwed

  • our teacher showed this to my class today. i had to see it for a second time here at home. it is a eye opener.

  • simkinggold...

That's 'Right Here, Right Now' by Fatboy Slim.

    Dramatic isn't it?

And as a result it gets used by a LOT of drama presentations. I've heard it on trailers, adverts, powerpoint presentations and even a whale show at a 'SeaWorld' type park outside Nice, France.

  • Some parts of that were really scary but the worst part was that they didn't even go into things like obesity. SCARY IF YOU ASK ME!

  • what's the song called?

  • This reminds of me of a quote I live by.

"The more you know, the more you know you don't know."

  • That's right! And if we know what we know ,and know what we don't know, then how can we know what don't know we don't know?

  • wow!

sime of those are just plain sad.

  • Hard to argue that it is not compelling though no matter how you interpret it.. One of the rising stars in our software company recently used this video as an intro to his presentation on viral speed of light markteting.. it was pretty impressive to see it on two 30ft screens with the music pounding :)

  • It is hard to believe a lot of what the video states when they have no references and/or citations. Still cool though

  • The 25% of india's population with the highest iq's is greater than the population of america
