  • Had same issues on my van, caused violent shaking at 40 to 50 mph whilst accelerating.

Turned out the cv boot had slipped off and dried out the joint, amazingly after repacking with grease and refixing boot tempoarily the shaking had completely gone...shaft will still be replaced though.

  • @TheForza1000 I am having the exact same issue right now on my pathfinder. Am in the process of replacing the cv axle (but rust is making the job a real pain).

  • I wounld have thought this is because of a clutch adjustment because if its in neutral then the drive shaft should not be moving at all.

  • My xj makes a noise similar but ONLY in reverse going slow bc I haven't had to backup faster than slow. Ha any hints!???

  • @tcmlr my Hyundai sonata had the same problem, its the cv joint wearing out, had to ge it fixed, 1700 dollars, but i have a warranty, thank god

  • @alitap I just had my car looked at for a similar problem and it turns out I Brock my cv shaft ( I think that's what the guy said. I'm no good with cars). You should get it looked at

  • @KernKraft93 You Brock your cv shaft?

  • @avciugroar i brock my driveshaft, sorry my bad.

  • @alitap Lug nuts are loose

  • Sound to me like the timing chain yeapp,,,,my car sounds like that.

  • @bendecido78 It was an axle problem

  • That's what mine was doing it would click and pop in any gear except for park... took the boot off the drive axle and was merrily greeted by a bunch of ball bearings and broken steel

  • Bad spark plug maybe ?

  • not sure, but I dont know if the video shows the cv joint actually turning with the clicking noise. I havent heard it in a while, it went away!

  • thats the motor eather a valve or a piston is coming loose

  • cv joint

  • @avciugroar fail

  • @1993TMAXX and why?

  • @avciugroar lol because the problems not the cv joint as it's not even turning and is mostly tranny problem because the car's out of gear.

  • hey did you found out what the problem was? ... because my car is doing it, and i don't know what it is!

  • how can that be cv joint noise? da wheel isn't even turning. sounds like transmission noise
