  • Brilliant! We Africans must cultivate such talents and market it to the rest of the world! His music speaks to the human spirit. Love it.

  • It touches a chord!!!

    A gifted talent.

You don't need to be modern to be talented

  • Amazing song! Nice work on the video - he's got quite a unique talent.

  • What Tribe Is This?

    What Langauge Is This?

  • Sorie Kondi is a Loko by tribe, but he also speaks the tribal language called Temne, as well as Krio, the lingua franca of Sierra Leone. In this particular song, the first verse is sung in Loko, the second in Krio, and the third in Temne. Sorie often mixes these languages in his songs.

  • @vedicaudio I thought the first one was mende, then krio then temne.....

  • @vedicaudio a cool thing is that if you understand Pidgin English, you can understand the Krio he speaks.

  • @sexychichi100ae He is speaking Mende (branch of the Mandingo pple) Krio ( pigeon British English) and Temne (?) ib respective order.

  • @sexychichi100ae The first langauge is Temne...and the second one is Krio

  • WOW! Thanks for recording this artist. It is a relief to know that these artists are still out there.

  • Do you have anymore of his music? This is Brilliant

  • Yes! He has recorded one album in the studio which is now available in Sierra Leone and coming soon to the rest of the world. The album is named after the song you heard "Without Money, No Family." There is also a live performance available on The MUSIC OF SIERRA LEONE, VOL. 3, which will be released VERY SOON on EarthCDs. The best place to check on these two releases is EarthCDs own website, although Sorie Kondi should have his own website up and running by the end of 2007.

  • @vedicaudio is it true he is a musician?

  • beautiful music, i hope more people discover this artist!

  • ..This really a fine piece of Music...I like that very much...
