Go to RobH0629's tutorial. You don't have to memorize ten algorithms each step. Plus I think it's easier.

My aunt recently went to turkey and she bought a 4x4 there. Then i told her that i can solve the 3x3 and that i'll try to solve the 4x4. Almost solved it all i needed was to make a parity which i didn't know. I did it without any tutorial just based on my basic 3x3 knowledge and i ALMOST did it now i saw what parity is in your next videos.

I used your method to solve a five by five but I'm working in my 6x6 and when I solve the bottom cross and along the cross with it's colors I can't get the last 4 corner pieces to align using the 3x3 algorithm. is there another way to do it. When I've tried RobHos method I mess upy cube.

To answer your question:

L = a Clockwise rotation of the left face of what ever face you have currently facing you

L' = a Counter-Clockwise rotation of the left face of what ever face you have currently facing you
