Redibeaver, you are right, on this tune dry.But Billy uses reverb, octave,chorus,more pedals than any other blues player I listen to.

Actually Blueharper, I use a delay and ocatave pedal. The delay pedal is substituted for reverb, and the octave pedal is only used on certain solos.

Billy Branch can blow, always could...just didn't get much press. Notice that he doesn't have a gram of reverb fattening-up his sound. Harp posers on Utube should all watch/listen closely to how the blues are played. This was 25 years ago!!!
