  • Wow, The End is the greatest part of this entire video! That''s some BS to get pulled over like that because you have a Go Pro? really?!

  • you would think if you landed on the gopro it would be more safe then without it

  • Love how you question the citation... oh wait he didn't even give you one, it was just a "warning". The tantrum at the end really made me laugh though. Had some adrenaline going?

  • In the cops defense that "taillight" of yours is punny as hell. He probably really couldn't see it considering when you show it you can hardly see the light coming from it. Give the guy a break.

  • The way it appears, the cop acted like a gentleman, and you acted like spoiled brat. Grow up, kid.

  • Yeah he was a nice cop and he did give the rider a break but seriously, the GoPro will snap your neck? Skin torn down to the muscle, through your clothing but this little camera in a plastic housing is going to stand up to the trauma of a crash & start snapping bones? Yeah sure. Nice to see the system is so worried about us riders. What about N-Com, they are 'designed' to attach to the outside of a helmet, right?

  • Actually a pretty nice Cop IMO. How does this law work if you live in a state that doesn't require you to wear a helmet?

  • Really? So if you crash, your GoPro won't be torn off? It will grab onto the smallest crack in the road, snap your neck & no doubt rip your head and spine clean out of your body! I guess all the other crimes have been solved? Great job officer. How about pulling over gormless fat stupid drivers with a cellphone in one hand and a burger in the other, oh and a handful of fries "protruding" from their mouth!

  • why would you have it on ur helmet....clean the tail light u can barely see it anyway and maybe drop a couple hundred bucks and buy a better bike...

  • dude that cop was NICE! What the hell are you people talking about? I've been screamed and cursed at before and on and on. This was like my 1st grade teacher telling me not to hit. Know the laws, follow the laws, and never bitch to a cop because 999,999 out of 1,000,000 it will get you no where. Thumb this to the top!

  • Hahaha! "It will break your neck." Right. That's why there are so many videos of Go Pro's and Contour's, etc. breaking people's necks in crashes. Oh, wait. No, but there are plenty of videos of cameras flying off and getting temporarily lost in a crash.

Nice 'tard, by the way. From a fellow motarder.

  • dude you kinda have this cop's ass........ It is illegal for an officer to pull away from the scene before you do. that law is for your safety

  • cop gives you a warning for having helmet mounted cam.

drives off with camera still mounted anyway.

    like a boss.

  • @davisonmp28 if you get cited for a busted taillight, do they make you fix it before you drive away?

  • @outerspaceonline Was gonna say "nice cop let you off with only a warning."

After watching the cop's perspective video, yeah, he is a dick. You can see the tail light even in the crappy quality dash cam footage. What a piece of trash. And he couldn't cite the helmet law. Asshole cop.

On the other hand, you're really lucky he let you off when you admitted you were driving without your license on you.

  • I haven't even watched the video and I'm already fucking pissed at this cop.

  • thanks Dr. Officer. that's why you are a cop and not an MD

  • @TheErmin36 1.) Don't need to be a doctor to enforce a law. 2.) He is likely the first responder to 3/4 of the accidents in his area. It's rare an ambulance or fire truck beats a cop. So i'm sure he knows better than most what is safe for a motorcyclist.

  • A sticky mount or suction cup breaking my neck?

"The worst thing I can do" is wear my cam outside my helmet? WTF?

Now the next time I'm in a ditch there won't be any vid of the asshole that put me there.

Or, the next time I'm run off the road... Or blamed for doing 150mph on my 250...

  • @F0ckUtoob handlebar mount, idiot.

  • thats bullshit yo. fucking swine!

  • you have to carry your licence with you in the states? in the uk you can just shove it in your draw at home.

  • @NobbysPcHelp fuck lucky you! at least this cop didn't fuck him for not having his license... a cop got me a criminal citation for not having my license with me. ugh.

  • So I guess Icon Variant helmets aren't allowed where you live. Since they have a built in visor and all......They just don't like the use of camera's being turned on them.

  • No tail light seems like a legit reason to stop someone who stares at a cop suspiciously as they pass.

  • @tiasboi3able And blind people ( such as yourself ) shouldnt attempt to watch Youtube videos, because then you will post comments ( as the one your just did ) and make yourself look like an idiot.

  • the cop was fine

  • 9 people didnt watch till the end!

  • Since when does the Tuk PD have black and whites? When I lived, they had black cars with blue in the middle.

  • @doughnuteater More than 6 months ago. I am guessing they are kent pd hand-me-downs.

  • I love washington cops been pulled over 6 times not one ticket on my record i too got pulled over for light out drzs short out all the time expecially with after market tail lights by the way get your fender bolted on better if not it will just vibrate and brake your light in like a week.

  • Per 49 CFR Sec. 571.218, Section S5.5

"S5.5 Projections. A helmet shall not have any rigid projections inside its shell. Rigid projections outside any helmet’s shell shall be limited to those required for operation of essential accessories, and shall not protrude more than 0.20 inch (5 mm)."

Notice it state’s a "rigid mount".

Unless you installed the camera with a rigid mount (nut and bolt, screw) you should be OK having it on your helmet. Most attach with a rubber and/or Velcro mount.

  • Hello from Denmark! Let me break this video down into American Culture for you all. It is obvious that the officer is a "bear" and he presumes the rider to be a punk cumdumpster twink. The rider is clearly a power bottom instead and takes offense. The Bear and the PB fag are now at odds because of the misconception. The Bear let the PB off with a warning but, that is not good enough so, the PB responds like a twink cumdumpster. Thus, proving that the PB is indeed a twink!! You're welcome, fags.

  • That cop didn't seem too bad. Where I live, cops will make you sit and wait on them to eat a dozen donuts before they come back after checking your info. (~30 minutes)

  • Good thing he didn't fine you for littering when you dropped that warning on the road. lol!

  • The reason is pretty shitty, but at least he wasn't a total dick. What were you fined for? (besides the camera sticking out)

  • Tamper tantrum at the end of video KILLED it for me... YOU LOOHOOSE Copper slick-prick wins HANDS DOWN as you went off rails in the end! Next time, KEEP YOUR COOL DUMMY!

  • @AmericanOppression Well, if you've ever been pulled over for a false reason (which are usually broken tail lights, because the cop wont allow you to get out of the car and check most of the time.) it pisses you off when you figure out it was Bull sh-t. I've paid over $500 in "broken taillight" fines, when it was never broken. They pulled me over because I'm 18 ( i look 17) and they target teens, thinking everyone has illegal substances on them. I brought it to court Jan 4th and got a cop fired.

  • Quit being a little bitch

  • wtf i live like 1 min away i fucking hate tukwila pig

  • wow that cops a moron i can see why you are mad

  • hahahahhahahah that ending was great! "what the fuck is this, what the fuck is this"

  • this cop should stay in his office, What a pillok haha, if you fell off the camera would shatter.

  • Faggy for sure. Total queen fag tantrum.

  • @mr22pct You back for more?!?! Damn we missed you.

  • Why didn't you get off the bike and check the rear light when he stopped you? That is absolutely 100% the first thing I would have done when he mentioned it, I don't get? Even just to check connections to see if I could fix it so I wasn't riding with a light out?! Strange, and that weird temper tantrum you had at the end was really faggy...

  • Wouldn't you just love to bang him right in the jaw and ride off and enjoy the rest of your day like nothing happened, never even think of that nonentity again...

  • "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!? BITCH WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS"

    clasic

  • Wow, first off, that cop was a DICK! Secondly, "You Mad Bro?"

  • @Iamdustyyy Hell yeah "bro".

  • @Khustla10R Sometimes i think to myself, "Why do i hate cops so much, there not that bad?" And then i see something like this to remind me exactly why.

  • @Iamdustyyy Oh yeah that cop was a jerk. Giving him a warning for three offenses, what a douche....

  • That A-hole cop must have little man syndrome. obviously had nothing better to do

  • All I hear from this cop's mouth is: "bullshit bullshit bullshit". Looks as if he was bored and decided to pull someone over. You should really ask for a tail light citation to see the look on their faces

  • what an asshole.. i was born 8/11/91 :D

  • Bullshit.. Cops always use the faulty tail light excuse to pull ppl over. They always pull me over with that excuse. Not the best thing to do but, now I actually ask for a tail light citation so i can hand over to a judge. HAven't gotten one just a pissed off officer. It's like telling them to F off with out actually saying it. Makes me drive off with a smile after they let me go.

  • im sorry thats just Bullshit like really?? that just bullshit its a money grab.

  • to answer your question at 7:10, i do believe that's a rear tail light :)

  • Seems like cops like to talk in your country, in israel they just ask for your license & vehicle license and than they go to the car and check on their terminal. that's it :D

  • thought cops had to wait for you to pull of if your on the side of the road like that

  • I don't understand the jerks who call you names when they disagree with you. To respond to the vid, Laws are usually meant to protect us but theyre written by flawed people, and can't always take into account all applications. So it's easier just to say all cams kill. As for the cop, he was acting professional but his intentions weren't.

  • actually a guy gave me a site with some interesting info. go to calsci dot com/motorcycleinfo/Tickets.html they clain nothing in the DOT says the helmet cannot be modified and a plastic camera that would simply break away in an accident doesn't constitute a rigid protrusion. I'd continue to use the helmet cam and fight it in court if you get cited. Let a judge decide if the officer is an expert on helmet construction.

  • why did you stare him down like that at 0:12 makes you look suspicious

  • @bikerguy4life Why? Is it illegal to look at a police car? What is suspicious about looking at a police car?! lol

  • @bikerguy4life why wouldnt you?

  • 0:00-7:09 calm.... 7:10 ehhh not so much

  • Search google for "washington state bogus helmet vs. legal helmet" and look at like the 3rd link down that has Media Release in the title.

  • wow screw that

  • hahahah that ending was hilarious.

  • I looked it up for you, Washington State Highway Patrol states :There can be no attachments or protrusions over two-tenths of an inch long.:

  • @MetalHeadKLR650 Can you directly link it? I was looking at ;

    RCW 46.37.530

  • @MetalHeadKLR650 Now follow that RCW, to the federal 49 C.F.R. Sec. 571.218

To me it looks like manufacturer guidelines, it doesn't seem like it is directed at end consumers. Notice the wording in the RCW also. "MEANING". Meaning he would have to cite me for a NON DOT helmet. Which it is I could argue and we'd go back and forth.

  • @Khustla10R That law 49 C.F.R. Sec. 571.218 is what now has become standard in Washington State they basically adopted the federal standard for their helmets which means any alteration of the helmet voids the DOT certification and you then have a NON DOT helmet.

  • This officer was very polite I thought.. But still total BS... He pulled you though cause you looked right at him as you passed, I am assuming you did in fact not have a tail light and that was all he needed for cause.

If the camera thing is true, I would try and mount it inside your helmet the GoPro is really small, and I think you could make a mount inside the helmet and velcro it in place. I have one and have been looking at doing this just to get the cam out of the wind.

  • @kens97sto171 he had a tail light lol

  • @snowboy1080

Yeah.. saw that later. But all I saw was the brake light go on when he stopped.. isn't there supposed to be a light on all the time and when you hit the brake it gets brighter? On my bike there is... but usually you cant see them during the day, and since it is light out in the video why would it matter.

  • @kens97sto171 Look very closely at the end right as the officer takes off. Watch me turn my key to on and watch my rear light. It is very hard to see, a very sunny day but it's there. Instead of admitting his mistake he pressed on. He didn't even say aftermarket, he just plain said NO tail light

  • @Khustla10R

AHH, I missed it the first time, Ya cant really see motorcycle tail lights on in the day, any more than car tail lights. You did the right thing though.. never get into it with the cop.. If he had cited you then you take it to court with the video and make a fool out of them. Some cops just have noting better to do. Believe me I know.. I drive a truck.. and the DOT is getting crazy. They will pull us over for doing 1 or 2 MPH over.. just so they can do and inspection.

  • @kens97sto171 its more dangerous to have the go pro inside the helmet, even in minor crashes you can break your teeth and nose with it, that why its outside

  • Wow man! By the way. that a Dr-z400 ?

  • @Linkz14 That is the supermoto. DR-Z400SM. It's nothing but FUN FUN FUN for urban warfare and a bit of off-roading.

  • @Khustla10R Right on. Just enough speed to do everything huh ? Getting mine soon xD

  • @Linkz14 65 mph+ sucks. Get it to beat around town. I have ZX-10R for high speed fun or longer rides and this for...trouble making.

  • Bullpoop! That's insane!

  • I would of asked him to recite the ordinance/law that you can't have anything protruding from your helmet. What you do to your private property is your own business it's not like you are riding with a toilet on your head.

  • @MetalHeadKLR650 Did you watch the video??? I did, that's when he decided to whip out po po powers instead of telling me the law I violated.

  • @Khustla10R Yeah I watched it, I didn't hear that part very well. I got it now. He said he'd just cite you for it.

  • @MetalHeadKLR650

    (3) For purposes of this section, "motorcycle helmet" means a protective covering for the head consisting of a hard outer shell, padding adjacent to and inside the outer shell, and a neck or chin strap type retention system, with the manufacturer's certification applied in accordance with 49 C.F.R. Sec. 571.218 indicating that the motorcycle helmet meets standards established by the United States department of transportation.

  • @Khustla10R Looked up the law in my state and it also says "DOT-compliant helmets are identified by a sticker inside the helmet. For the purposes of the National Occupant Protection Use Survey’s (NOPUS) nonintrusive observation, NOPUS data collectors categorize noncompliant helmets as helmets that have a small coverage area (such as a “beanie helmet”) or some protrusion (such as a spike)."

  • You were pretty cool calm and collected till the end LOL. Wear mine all the time they just ask

    "what is that ? "

"Helmet Cam" is my Reply follow up Question

    "What for?" Reply

"just in case" follow up question

"in case of what?" my reply

"Never Mind Officer Can I Leave now?"

"Sure Have a nice day and be careful"

"Thanks Officer I always look twice"

  • is that stock pipe?

  • @Schutzstaffel23 If I remember correctly, it's a yoshi RS3 full pipe. Spark arrestor was removed...makes my presence known. But of course the previous owner did this before 2006 therefore making it LEGAL ;).

  • @Khustla10R indeed thats why i have the muzzy and headers on my zx lol. oh yeah Nice

  • Is that the whole state of washington or a local law? I am going there next year.

Have you heard of others getting pulled over?

  • The cop could have been worse, but he was certainly a bit cheeky for threatening to site you just because you asked for further information. I hate cops who are on power trips.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, i don't think that any of that shit would have held up in court other than the license on you person thing. Any reasonable judge would recognize that the GoPro would snap right off if it hits asphalt in an accident, and that your bike does indeed have a tail light stock. Sorry that you got pulled over man

  • WTF! Really pulled you over for that

  • That same Blonde Hair, blue eyed hitler youth fuck goes to the 7/11 by foster links every Wednesday morning @ like 4. They drink their coffee and watch all the rats run in and out of the dumpsters cause they have nothing better to do.

  • Lol ok just seen the last part.

  • @Hugoboss206 I'm thinking by the reaction of my forum, I'm pretty much a certified actor. What meant to be a dramatic response turned out to up the self esteem of so many bullies. Tee hee.

  • These ppl are dumb asses, i live in tukwila and everyone always gets pulled. But yes u should have your brake light.

  • Thats tuk pd for ya. I feel very at home watching this.

  • Dude was investigating you, and then wanted to put the squeeze on ya to keep you in check.

He stopped you because you mugged him when you drove by. That made him suspicious, so he ran you down. If you had any serious violations, you'd have gotton a ticket. You were cool, so he let you go.

BS on the cam 'breaking your neck' in an accident. pffft The tail light ain't great, but it's there as required. You don't need a license to 'travel' if you're not getting paid, that's 'driving'.

  • @tazztt1 Thanks for being civil. That's a big red flag however, cops getting offended that someone will look at them and not their feet and straight away. Too much powerzzz.

  • @Khustla10R ... Not saying that cops get offended looking at them, just that they interpret your 'obvious notice' of their presence as you thinking "uh-oh', so they'll run you down to get a closer look.

Try keeping your head straight next time, and if you get nabbed again, 'sir' is good, but 'officer' is better.

All 3 warnings were bogus. Had they been tickets, they all would have been beatable.

Remember... These are REVENUE AGENTS, not safety officers as they claim to 'care'.

  • @mr22pct Apparently it was interesting for 1,119 people and another 3K+ on the PNW forum. Interesting enough for you to comment. Get over yourself, and let it go, it's just a video to you!

  • @mr22pct One last thing, I seriously recommend some therapy for yourself, you could benefit much from it. Unless you are taking some and your instructor instructed you to unleash your anger online. If so, I fully support your lifestyle.

  • @Khustla10R cops are nothing but losers who failed in life and they choose to be cops to ruin other people lives and annoy them. when i was a kid i always respected cops and now i totally regret it, everyday one of my friends get pulled over for some BS reason and last year i was pulled over for doing 75 mph in a 65 mph zone which was BS cuz i had my dash camera that shows the speed as well so if i didnt have that camera i would've ended up paying 300 something but still wasted my time!

  • @mr22pct - Wow, harsh words, get some help. Anyway, Khustla was polite as well and listened to the officer. Now, there is no law against a camera on your helmet. The all knowing cop thinks it is going to break his neck in a fall, really a suction cup mount is going to cause a broken neck? Like most cops, this guy doesn't know what he is talking about, doesn't know the law, and makes up his own laws.

  • @mr22pct You are quite the rude, obnoxious, jerk.

  • Respond to this video... I'd love to know if there is an ordinance against the helmet cam. I know this. The cops don't like be filmed. Too bad. Don't behave like thugs.

  • @mr22pct you are truely a dumass. you probaby think all law and govornment is right

  • @mr22pct in many cases the go pro would help a motorcycle rider the upper hand i was involved in a hit in run accident on the free way had to chase the guy down to stop but blamed it completely on me and we left it at there but if i had a go pro on i could have proved that he was a dick head and hit me in my lane with out any turn signal at all but nope and now i have to replace my own turn signals so for safety no but for proof it can help greatly. Change your fucking tampon!

  • really? why the hell did i watch this? that cop couldn't have been more professional or kind. your an ungrateful p.o.s.

  • @VYFTW10 I'm pretty grateful, thank you very much. And it's because you followed a link and were curious, that's why you watched this. You loved it, don't lie.

  • I had to join and chime in. You were wrong! You got caught, you got a HUGE break and yet you still posted this lame, cry-baby, poor-me video. You didn't even listen to the main point the officer told you about on how you could break your neck if you crashed with that thing on your head. Now, THAT'S weak.

  • @ez17ez I don't think you understand how fishing works.

  • Dude. You're a fucking looney tunes. What a tool. I ride, break laws, and occasionally get a ticket. I've been the victim of dickhead cops and gotten some breaks as well. That cop couldn't have been more professional.

    You're a fucking dork.

  • You give "safe" MC riders a bad name. DOT helmet rules have been adopted by the WSP that don't allow ANYTHING protruding from your helmet for the reason the officer explained. You also didn't have your license on you so he had to ask you questions. How was he fishing? Your tail light was not visible till you got your "protruding" helmet cam up to it. Looked like a bright sunny day. After-market piece of junk? The officer was very polite and saved you $375! Following the law = no stop.

  • @ez17ez LOL, you just joined to say that shit? Weak sauce.

  • Hahaha I keep watching it because I cant stop laughing at your little freak out moment at the end haha

  • Wow...cops really have nothing better to do huh? Your tax dollars at waste.

  • Wonder when the cop will get a ticket for running a red light.

  • I like it how you ask for the rcw and he says he can cite you now. haha you either have to believe his lies or get a ticket.
