I just got one of these last week and I love it.Its got a janspeed system with front mounted intercooler and a camskill downpipe. The power is amazing for such a small engine.
My mate owned one of those years ago & still says he had more fun out of this car than anything else, who needs big bhp + torque when 993cc of engine can push you to 60 in under 8 seconds.

Love the gtti's...owned one years back and wish id never sold it..great fun and embarrassed loads of cars on the road..great stuff..

i think thats the same turbo used in the Lancia y10 turbo !
I remember how my stock gtti used to go through the gears ,your car seems very fast
You got any extra mods planned ??
Did you have any issues with the gearbox ??
