hi tpaul here am working on the sales end of the biz and was trying to figure out cost to whosale products any help would be aprichated thanks for videos tpaul57@mail.com tplartglass
I'm going the expensive route of getting a degree in digital design to create the perfect website and learn the ways of the business world. Probably not the best path, but I like the security of a fall back plan.
Have you ever considered art and trade shows like bead shows and flea markets. The show is advertised for you. All you have to do is pay the entry fee and wait for the customers. lol
Great information right here. I have found thus far that if you want to be professional you gotta play the part, and in all aspects of your business; marketing, manufacturing, and also the manner in which you communicate, go to say a lot about a person and a business, etc. I'm sure you guys get the idea, I don't mean to ramble. Thanks for the tips Bobby.
So when you're figuring costs. How do you accurately gauge cost of gases used to make the product? I've been taking cost of my propane and oxy and dividing it between the amount of products made, but I don't feel that model is very accurate. Are there any inexpensive meters out there?
not that I have found. I know for a fact that I can deplete a 285 or k tank in a day flat. with that consumption rate, I know stoiciometrically the amount of propane consumed assuming neutral flame, and figure that its about a buck a minute for pm2d running full on, and often I combine the fire of the cudda with it, so I know I have to make at least 60/hour to cover all costs, and have some left over, so if an item takes me 30 minutes, well, I usually wont let it go for less than $30.
I don't think youtube allows channels to change names, but if you make a vid explaining that you are moving your channel, people will follow, I know I will.-)

Do you recomend tis strategy for tobacco novelty product lines?
milowerx69 2 years ago
no! buyers for tobacco novelties sometimes don't know the diff between decent glass and import junk! this is for art level dealers only.-(
also, I will not ship tobacco novelties! its a dangerous thing, I will only sell tobacco novelties to distributors!
