as i'm french, i don't spaek english very well but this video is WONDERFUL!!!!!!! in french: cette vidéo me prend aux tripes!!!! je crois que je vais pleurer c'est tout simplement impressionant!!!!!!!
She is simply great and stride piano needs such gifted young people to keep this precious art alive.
Lambert's powerful left hand is a thing of exquisite beauty and may never be quite equaled again. His hands were quite small and he could not reach tenths so he had to roll them but he bangs those bottom stride notes with unequaled brilliant force and precision. Wow!
Stephanie Trick, if this is your channel, just wanna let you know I really enjoyed this! I wish I was half as good on guitar as you are on the piano...! That was truly awesome......
She doesn't take out most of Lambert's syncopation in the right hand, unlike SOMEONE we know!
The trick in getting Lambert's stuff to sound right (besides the requisite complicated syncopation) is to get EXACTLY the right touch on the low bass notes... they should be clean, well-defined, and sound more like a double bass than a piano. Lambert only used pedal on the slow numbers, almost never on the fast ones like this.

3 dislikes? I guess Anitra didn't dance with those people.

Just fabulous. The start seems a little off putting but the stride interpretation is mind boggling. How come you are so clever?

I switched from 'keep your Temper' to this vid. and when I heard the stilted start I thought I it must be another Stephanie.
Then all hell broke loose.
Love it
Wonderful.
Thank you !

Stepahnie must be one of the most "up and coming" pianists in the world taday. I can't believe that anyone would dislike this.

Wonder why Stephanie's video always got so little view counts. She should've been one of the best pianist on Youtube.

I love the piece and the interpretation. But Anitras Dance is from Edvard "Grieg" (not "Greig" ...)

This is very a good version of this arrangement!
