Justin is more popular than Khalil cause Khalil sings mando and Justin sings canto, which also explains why Khalil is more famous in Taiwan than in HK. And plus, they have different styles of music.

because Khalil sings in mandarin and in RnB and Soul. It's hard for HK singers to get popular in HK if you sing in Mandarin or in other genres besides pop. That's why Khalil is so much more well appreciated in places outside of HK like Taiwan.
