  • hi bro... a big Hai frm thiruvella.. :) excellent recipe my bro..!! u ROCKS..!! ur body language is awesome..! do't care about any street dogs barking here abt the beef, bones, cow, god etc etc... waiting new videos....

  • @jaihindbrenny Thank you my friend. New videos in a new avataar are coming up shortly.

Thanks for the support. Take care.

  • I cooked this, It's awesome. so tasty, Good recepie

  • @kukupooh1 Thank you so much! Glad to know you enjoyed this. It is one of my favorites too. Stay in touch, and Happy eating!

  • Irfandama, You look like a land whale.

  • @anilk210 Yup... I weigh about the same too.

  • @suranjangupta22 It's hard to comment, because I don't use a pressure cooker that works on the whistle basis. I am guessing, for stewing beef, about 2 to 3 whistles should work. I usually cook beef in a cooker for about 15 minutes. That leaves time for further cooking and simmering when finishing the curry.

  • nice presentation...i tried it and it was very nice!thanks.

  • @HaiSusanFour Thank you for your kind comments. Happy eating!

  • why so much salt? Why did you use vinegar?

  • @Purplemuslimlina2010 Did it not work for you? I find that vinegar really balances out the flavor. As for salt, I always will advise you to add it as per your taste. I hope this recipe worked out for you. Let me know your feedback, please.

    Thank you.

  • you can cook for me any time lol, i will be cooking this later for sure

  • @daulatkhanmaga : stop bombing other religions, we'd do that...

  • stop eating beef you mallus

  • @DaulatkhanMaga And pray tell... why should we do that? Why would anyone stay away from the delicious succulence such as Beef. Truly, Beef is food for the Gods.

  • @irfandama No, it is not. We worship our cows. Please keep your stupid advice to yourself. Nobody is interested.

  • @anilk210 And you are entitled to your worship. Refraining from any particular food is your choice. I respect that. However, it still does not take away from the fact that Beef is delicious. Stupid advice or not.

As for nobody being interested, 36,000 + views for this video alone would prove your theory wrong.

  • malayalathil parayada

  • U made it look so easy..The way u present urself is "Fantastic"..

  • @SmintoAntony Thank you so much. I really appreciate the support. Stay in touch, there's a lot more videos coming your way.

  • @irfandama Lucky Gina :)

  • Made this last week. It was PERFECT! (I'm otherwise a horrible cook). I just started cooking and that was the first time I've made beef (got fed up of eating chicken). Now I want to learn how to make a good lamb dish. I am not at all confident over my cooking 'cause it doesn't taste that good even after following recipes. But I must say I would have no problem cooking this curry for a guest. Thank you so much. Looking forward to try more wonderful dishes.

  • oh man....just had ma dinner..made it with pasta...i must say..it was awesome....cheers

  • @avizzzy Interesting combination. Next time around, I would recommend trying it with rice noodles. It should be pretty interesting, and as close as possible to the South Indian Iddiappams.

    Thanks for the feedback.

  • wow man tats an awesome recipe ...was a great success :D

  • @aslambhairak Thanks Aslambhairak. Great to hear that it was a success. That just makes my day.

  • Hi r thr any taste change if we cook the beef in a pressure cooker

  • @richuseby1 Hey there,

If youare doing beef in a pressure cooker, it's going to taste great. I have made this recipe with pressure cooked stewing beef, and it works really well.

Hope you enjoy the recipe and let me know how it turns out.

  • it would be fully kerala style if you had add roasted coconut pieces to it.but this is good also.

  • @veerunda I AGREE!!! Unfortunately I could not get my hands on the coconut. It hard to find that ingredient in the US. But seriously, it totally makes the dish!

    Thanks again for the feedback.

  • Very good presentation. clear English. Lively set. Unlike the non smiling lady cooks, you are perfect. Keep doing what you do and let more good recepies come. thanks

  • Gud!

  • I HATE YOU FOR EATING WITH A FORK!!!!

  • @justwannaseeit111 You and me both.

  • @justwannaseeit111 PORK IS THE BEST NON VEG FOOD IN THE WORLD!!!!! THANK GOD MUSLIMS DONT EAT PORK , IF OTHERWISE THERE WOULD BE SCARCITY OF PORK IN THIS WORLD

  • @tomskuttan i said fork mate.... not pork... big difference lol

  • I made this dish today, i made a slight difference and added coconut flakes with the garlic, ginger and chilies and ommitted coconut oil during the tempering . It was awesome. Thank you very much for this recipe. It is excellent

  • @nilofer1979 Thank you for your comments and feedback. I never thought to add the coconut flakes, as I always thought it would make the dish too sweet. However, since you recommend it, I will have to give it a try.

Thanks for the feed back. Please do keep trying the recipes, and sending me your updates. That's awesome!

    Happy Eating!

  • Looks delicious. But as a Keralite, I know it's important to have fresh diced/chopped coconut to the beef curry instead of just coconut oil etc. Potatoes are a nice touch. Awesome video & editing. Great job with the easy instructions for all to understand!

  • @makamalu I couldn't agree with you more. I just have to do this again with the sliced coconut.

If you have a recipe you would like to share, please send it my way... It would be grat to get authentic recipes from a true Keralite.

Thank you for your kind comments. Happy Eating

  • yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i cant wait

  • can you make some refreshment drink related to ramdaan or some delicious chaat or pakode and chutney mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • @TheDino2714 Sounds good. Actually the next video is fried chicken with an Indian spice rub. You might be interested in that one for Ramadaan.

Thanks for your support. See you soon.

  • @irfandama yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i cant wait

  • Beef Curry? Do more vegetarian recipes.

  • @cpmkw Sure thing... Do you have any requests?

  • @irfandama

Thanks, my personal favorites would be some nice northern saag recipes like sarson da saag or palak paneer. Either of those would be great. BTW, your lobia recipe is very good.

  • @cpmkw Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.

I have been meaning to do Palak Paneer for sometime now. I will have that on the docket soon. Thanks again.

    Cheers.

  • Hey Irfan, again a very inspiring video and thanks much!

Tiny coincidence. I tried making a beef masala curry last night and did it mostly wrong.

    1. Use a pre-mixed 'Punjabi Curry' paste (gift from brother-in-law).

    2. Marinate beef in yoghurt and part curry paste.

    3. Cook onion garlic and curry first.

    4. Add more yoghurt and coconut cream.

Well, that pretty much covers what NOT to do, at least I added 1 potato, peas, capsicum and it was kinda OK. Nothing like your fine use of spices though.

  • @philbx1 Hey Phil. Thanks for the comments.

As for your steps, I don't really see anything wrong. You followed the steps pretty well. I would have done the same thing.

The only change I would advice is not to use the coconut cream. Use regular cream or half & half. Coconut cream doesn't work well with North Indian flavors (in my opinion). Also, make sure you beat the yogurt well. It prevents splitting when added to the hot medium.

Take care and stay in touch.

  • Wow... you taught me something new! I always assumed that most Indians were vegetarian and that those that weren't NEVER ate beef. I had no idea! Still, if I was to eat meat I would always prefer fish, poultry or maybe lamb or veal. :-)

  • @steven3x Hey Steven. You could make this dish with Lamb and it would work very well. Chicken works too, and you would not need to cook it as long.

Glad you liked it. There's a lot more on the docket. Stay tuned.

    Cheers

  • recipe was good but we think you make something related to ramdaan

  • Respond to this video...Sure thing... do you have any requests or suggestions for Ramadaan? Let me know.

  • Welcome back, Chef! Nice new intro. Dish looks delicious. My hubby will love this! Good to have you back! :D

  • @sleepyfacedangel Hey!!! Thank you so much. So glad to hear from you. Yes... I have been away for a bit. Been trying to upgrade the software and the audio of the videos. It was a long process. Glad you like the subtle changes.

Well, I do have a few more recipes on the docket. So, see you soon.

    Thanks again.
