Yeah because those riffs, which are some of the best ever in rock and roll history are terrible. Overrated? They sold 65 million albums and are one of the only rock bands to have TWO albums go diamond ceritifed. Def Leppard is one of the best bands of the 80's, if you don't like them GTFO. Right there at 2:56 is possibly the most underrated band ever to walk the earth. Their influence on DL is unmistakable. Both legendary acts - one sadly never got the respect and credit they deserved. BTW saw DL live here Saturday night and they rocked it - absolutely superb. They can still sell out big arenas and with good reason.
