Unfortunately Serbia had no chance against the mob who were after her land, her banks, her agriculture and the geo-strategic significance of her position close to an oil corridor through the Balkan region from beyond to Turkey and further to Georgia and the Caspian sea reserves. The attack on Serbia was planned in advance and the propaganda against Russia now is no accident.
Just like all the confident Western politicians who pontificate about 'justice' 'human rights' etc etc...they have an agenda. There was never a war in history fought by big nations that was based on humanitarian intervention. Anyone who believes that was the reason for the attack on Yugoslavia and the propaganda against Serbia, is a fool beyond redemption.

The video is a lie Serb Nationalist Forces didn't 'launch a war' ...the first blood spilled was Serbian. The resurgence of the Nazi Ustasha in Croatia and the islamic fundamentalists in Bosnia was the reason Serbs were frightened. They had good cause to be afraid (google: JASENOVAC for the reasons) This is typical of the British propaganda against an allie in two world wars and victim of her neighbours for centuries.
Ashdown is a liar and a propagandist and even worse than both of those; he is a terrorist. He aided and abbetted terrorists in Kosovo and Bosnia. He vilified the people trying to fight against them and ignored their suffering with malice aforethought as did nearly every commentator in the UK and beyond. The lies were and are very successful. The propaganda was such that Goebbels would have been proud. The difference is that Goebbels' side lost the war so the propaganda was exposed.
