The Z5500 is ASS compared to Edifier. The S530 has MDF cases where the LogiSHIT z5500 is made out of plastic.

P.S.: I just saw that you posted your video in 06/2009 ... at that time the S530 (Rev. 1, not the current Rev. 2) cost only like 135 EUR, which is about half the price as in Norway! :D

It's no good idea to place the satellites too far from each other because the perceived positioning of instruments/voices within the stereo field becomes really bad then! Justto tell you some audiophile basics ;)

BTW, in Germany the S530 costs just like 175 EUR which are about 235 USD :P

Scandinavia is exorbitantly expensive, I'm sorry for you! :]

Can you set the light to 0 on the display, or turn it off somehow, for example when you watch a movie, that light can be a lil' bit disturbing. I'm waiting for your answer.

It goes from 1 to 7. I got the light on 7, but at 1 you hardly notice it.

S730 is probably better yes :)

It is basically the same set but S730 have a bigger sub and more watts in the speakers. However S730 didnt deliver such clear sound as the S530 according to a review i read online.

it looks really nice and it has 2 loudspeakers instead of some simple satellites as all the logitech systems have. :)
